I purchased a smartphone from Straight Talk via my local Walmart store on 10-30-12.I was able to register and activate it and it worked fine that day.The next morning I could not make outgoing calls.I contacted them via a different phone and the rep had me do several procedures and it was working again.On approx 11-6-12 I was again unable to make outgoing calls and I had to reactivate an old phone I had and use it to contact Straight Talk.I was again instructed to do several procedures on the new phone and again it was working properly.This same type of event has been going on every few days with the new phone.I have been lied to by several reps of Straight Talk and even one of their supervisors as they always get the new phone working and assure me that the problem is resolved.It is now 11-23-12 and again today I am unable to make outgoing calls.I have been a customer of Tracfone,Net Ten,Straight Talk for the past 6 years and this is the worst service I have ever encountered when their was a problem.

Do not do business with this company if you can possibly avoid it.The do not care about the consumer as they are obviously "too big to fail".Go with a prepaid plan from one of the mainstream carriers and at least you will be able to get service when and if you need it.
