On November 27, 2016, I had ordered the 2-in-1 Straightening Brush directly from Straightfix.com after having viewed an advertisement for the product via Facebook.

Upon receiving the product, I noticed that the product did not contain any labels pertaining to StraightFix, but it actually contained the label Beauty Star and noticed the packaging stated that the company Konmison manufactured the brush. This company is not mentioned once on the StraightFix’s website. Furthermore, after visiting Konmison’s website, I had found the exact model of the V2 Straightening Hair Brush, however, rather than being advertised as $119.95 on straightfix.com, Konmison had priced the product at $31. Due to skepticism, I further researched the StraightFix company, only to find similar complaints of false advertisement and fraud on Ripoffreport.com and Outscam.com.

To confirm my suspicion, I researched the reliability of Straightfix.com via Scamner.com and Scamadviser.com and both websites reported Straightfix.com as suspicious, as the actual location of the website is hidden. This has led me to conclude that this website is in fact fraudulent and illegitimate.
