Complaint Review: Strayer Online

I was talking to a representative at Strayer online university. She knew that I could not get my mother to sign the financial aid forms and she said that we could work around that. I filled out the forms and signed them.

I get a phone call a few days later stating that I was infact enrolled and that I would be starting classes the following week. I was taking the classes and about 3 weeks into the class, I got a letter stating that I owed Strayer a total of $2,500.00.

I feel like I shouldnt have to pay them $2500.00 when they told me that my financial aid was processed and that I was enrolled into the classes and that I owed them a total of $500.00 to get enrolled into the class.

As soon as I received the letter, i completely cut the classes because I knew that I would not be able to afford $2500.00 per class taken. They also enformed that I only had 2 weeks to drop the coarses (without being penalized), but i recieved the letter 3 weeks into the course.

I really dont think they treated me right at all and I would like to warn everyone else and it is still 2 years later and I'm still fighting with them about the charges.
