I ordered an under body kit for my 94 gmc sonoma long bed. The called me back the next day and said that they did not have that item in stock but they did have an upgraded one for another 30 or so dollars, i said that would be fine they charged my acct, said i would receive it in 7-11 days.

A month later i called to follow up they say it had been returned. no one had called to let me know where my package was at. the said that my apt# was not listed i gave it to them (even thought im sure i listed my apt#) they said they would send it out. Three days later on oct, 14, 2009 i get an email saying there was a problem i ask them what it is on live chat, donny there representative says i need to pay 29.99 for shipping agian! and if i dont pay the shipping to get my money back i have to pay a 25% restocking fee, and wait 3 days.

Hi, I manage an automotive repair facility, and I frequently order aftermarket parts for myself and customers, such as body kits, wheels, performance products, lights, HID's etc. I basically just have a few things to say. Before you buy anything online, you have to check the box that says, "I have read, AND AGREE TO the terms and condition." I highly recommend that you actually read the terms and conditions, and not just check the box. I read a lot of complaints on forums, and websites like this, about aftermarket automotive product suppliers, and most of what they complain about are things that are clearly listed in a document they agreed to. Now, most businesses feel it is the customers responsibility to follow up on items they order, and that is correct. You should have called on day 11, when it didn't show up, so please don't complain that it had been a month, it was a month because of you. And of course you have to pay shipping again. You provided an address that was undeliverable, somebody tried, and got paid to do so. Shipping is not this fictional item, it's more like a cheeseburger, if you order a cheeseburger, and drop it on the ground and don't eat it, you still have to pay for it, if you want another one that you can eat, you have to buy it again. Shipping is exactly the same. Now if you would have read the terms and conditions you would have known about the 25% restocking fee. I guarantee it's listed in there, these people don't just make things up on the fly. And this upgraded kit, I feel you are misrepresenting the total cost, It was originally $79.98, plus the $30 to upgrade, plus the $30 to reship, equals $140. If there is a $10 difference, that isn't like a handling fee or something clearly listed in the terms and conditions you obviously didn't read. anyhoo, read the terms and conditions, and you won't be upset over things you should have known about, and can't do anything about. Thanks!
