Streetside Classics Phoenix claimed vehicle was a driver, turned out to be a paint and upholstery restoration phoenix arizona
Puffy advertisement claiming a great running driver 1931 model a. Had a short video of it idling through the showroom, and good pictures. Unfortunately, they didn't mention they never drove it on the road to check it out when it was consigned. Using this advertisement, I agreed to purchase it for a little less than asking price, again based on what the ad stated on condition.
When the car was delivered to me, it did not run. Multiple electrical problems, carb problems, got it running after 3 hrs, then tried to drive it. The consignee didn't tell them the left front tire had been hit bending the axle back 2 inches!!
If streetside had driven it, they would have noticed the steering was odd, and the wheel bent badly. Transmission is worn out, had a huge oil leak they forgot to mention, car was actually a paint and upholstery restoration with bad electrical, brakes, driveline, 5 bent wheels, engine problems- in other words, a museum display. Not at all what the ad said! Liars and thieves, and they know it!
