On June 9, 2006, I placed an online order for 3 bottles of 750MG Hoodoba Pure Hoodia Gordonii pills. My credit card was billed $149.85 plus $19.95 for express delivery. On June 13, 2006, UPS delivered a small cardboard box with only 1 of the 3 bottles of pills.

The next day, I went back to their website and sent an e-mail explaining that I wanted a refund for the additional $20.00 I was charged for express shipping since ALL of my bottles had not been express shipped. In addition to the e-mail, I left voice messages on both of their toll free numbers 1-800-777-4914 and 1-800-701-4556 asking someone to return my call. I called again on June 21, 2006 and left another message.

Finally, on June 22, 2006, I received a call. They claimed that they didn't get any voice messages or e-mails except for the one I left on the 21st. I had no way of proving that I left the messages and sent the e-mail because when you send an e-mail from their site (as I did); it only allows you to enter your name, e-mail address, and message. Then, you hit send and it tells you your message was sent successfully. There is no way to print your e-mail.

Anyway, I worked my way up to the manager/owner (Thil) and he told me their system said that I was shipped all 3 bottles and the only way for me to prove otherwise was to show him the box, since I was claiming the box I received was too small for all 3 bottles to fit inside. I informed him that my child accidentally threw the box and packing slip away, but there had to be other ways of verifying, such as the package dimensions and/or exact weight by UPS. He told me to take it up with UPS because I was wasting his time. I asked to speak to his shipping department, but he refused. He shouted at me and cut me off each time I tried to explain or ask for assistance in resolving this matter. He continued with offensive innuendos and finally hung up on me.

I contacted UPS, explained the situation, and filed a claim. They told me the company could deny the claim and most likely would since I didn't have the box.
