They will not refund your money and have very rude customer service. It is not worth the risk to try it. They are looking to suck money off of trials. They give the impression that it is a monthly payment not a full year all at one time.

This is a terrible optin conversion and makes the consumer feel like they were stolen from. Terrible scam company that should properly market their distribution of payments.

Dear Matthew,
As we stated in our first comment here, we will refund the money once we receive it from PayPal. And we're sorry it takes this long, but we cannot speed up the things that are not under our control.

But we want to draw your attention to the fact that we do not have ANY TRIAL period at all. Our tool can be used for free by anyone with no time limits. And no credit card required to join us for free.
(Please, see screen attached).

Over 50,000 clients have been using our tool for free for months and some even for years.
This means that you, right after registration, intentionally upgraded your account with the chosen subscription plan and confirmed it on the PayPal checkout page. This is why you were billed.

We'll refund the full amount as soon as we get it from PayPal.

One test email cost me 99.90

Under the supposedly the 'free' TRIAL the one test design cost me 99.90. That is an awful burden to pass on to your consumer when it was not compatible. Bad customer service practice for onboarding innocent designers.

Dear Matthew,

We're really sorry you’ve had a bad experience with Stripo editor. Unfortunately, as we stated before, currently, we're not in a position to refund the paid amount due to the fact that the money from your transaction is held by PayPal until the opened case gets closed. We've provided PayPal with the full description of the picture that we see in our logs.

We would like to shed some light on this issue for everyone as we think you do misrepresent the facts or misunderstand some processes. First of all, we do not have any trial periods and we do not request the credit card information when you sign up with Stripo. By default, you get FREE pricing plan that costs nothing and may be used without time limits. Only in case you want to upgrade your account with paid Pricing Plan, you have to pick a necessary one and then choose a convenient payment method.

Above the table, you may see that we offer two options: to be billed monthly or annually; the latter is selected by default. (Please, see the screenshot attached). In case the second option is selected, the price of the BUSINESS pricing plan is $99.9 /year, which would make $8.33 per month if you divide $99.9 by 12 months. If you prefer being billed monthly, then the price of this plan would be $9.99 /month. Considering the information above, we’re afraid you did not pay your attention to the fact that the second option was chosen when upgrading your pricing plan.

Now, regarding the confirmation: You chose PayPal as the payment method to upgrade the subscription plan. This means that the moment you pressed the 'Pay' button on our website, you were redirected to the secure checkout page hosted on the PayPal website to complete the transaction. On that page, the full details of the transaction were displayed again, including the amount. You gave your permission to PayPal to withdraw the money from your account to our merchant. So, this confirms that we did not steal your money, nor did withdraw it without your permission but we received it only after your approval. 

Matthew, we’re really sorry that you've faced such issues. We will definitely make a full refund as soon as the case is closed by PayPal after their thorough review.
