For over 1 year Rob Carter has not made any attempt to pay for a bad check he gave a trucking company to unload a Proton Display that was delivered to his location.

His bank had informed us that a stop payment was made the day BEFORE DELIVERY took place! Which he outright stole from Proton LED, and totally deceived Proton LED and the delivery company. The trucking company that delivered it, in good faith took his personal check and delivered the product to him. When we contacted Rob, why the check was not honored, he gave us nothing but excuses and empty promises of payment to no avail. Luckily for us, his computer crashed and lost it's activation code for the software. That's karma for you.

Rob's next move was to stoop to the level of having someone in his area contact us saying that they bought a used display on Ebay, to try to get an unlock code for the software on a computer, which we later discovered the truth when we asked for the serial number of the display, which turned out to be Rob's. When we threatened to take legal action against them for possession of stolen property, they came clean and told us what Rob was trying to do.

To all reading,

Just as I feel it is important to exercise your right of free speech if you feel you are a victim, I also feel just as strongly that the you have a responsibility to accurately report any positive changes. With that said, I would like to say that Paul called me today and offered a genuine response and thorough explanation as to why we had difficulty in the first place. He further explained how the difficulty led to effective and positive changes in their product and their company.

Certain vendors have been replaced, others have been fired or removed completely and a new system of meeting production and demand is in place. He was very quick to offer me the opportunity to come and visit him and the factory and I for one believed Paul in our conversation and further believe that he is taking all necessary actions to correct any past omission caused by vendors and staff.

It should also be noted that ANY new company experiencing rapid growth can quickly find themselves in trouble and very few of those companies know what to do without having to go through some growing pains. At this point I believe Paul has gone through those pains and is doing everything within his power to advance his company into the future which includes explanations to his clients early on if there is any sort of problem or delay with product, which he is working very hard to try and prevent but which may also one day be inevitable. The key is communication and I believe that he has a handle on that now. I also believe their technology is sound and I am looking forward to a factory visit in the next few weeks.

I am an individual who has attempted to do business with Paul and Proton who also Paul cannot attack, neither with slick words nor deception.

I can verify that Paul and his company both do legitimate business, and deceptive business, which is the chance one takes when dealing with them.

I, like many other clients was also promised product, was delayed months and months and ultimately was ripped off. Being above reproach from Protons false attacks of credibility, and further having tremendous wherewithal to engage them in a court battle in which they cannot prevail, they decided to refund my money. I am sure you can imagine by my tone what the outcome of Paul's promise was.

Further, I will verify the accurate report of the gentleman's comments above, that the Federal Bureau of Investigation does indeed have a report and investigation into Proton. I can further say that there are other customers who have neither satisfaction nor product as a result of conducting business with Proton, and further that considerably more small businesses have been damaged by Paul's over promised delivery schedules and under delivered product.

While it is true that Proton does have a production facility, that they have expanded it, and that they have both an attorney and a bank account, this in no way legitimizes them or their business. Enron and Worldcom had both as well, as do we, as do each of you and as do most businesses. Wanton deception is often transparent for men seeking to take what you have legitimately earned and is the case with Proton. One only has to look at some of their claims on the their eBay sales site, the main conduit of their contacts and sales. One will see words such as Pixelbending, Self Aware, Smart AWARE, Embedded-Aware, and Proton VTUN. The "TM" you see at the end of these words stands for "Trade Mark" which requires registration by the US Patent and Trademark Office, the very placement of the "TM" and the known process of registration is designed to legitimize a company or product, sadly Proton has no Trade Mark on any of these terms, which can be verified at www.uspto.gov by conducting a Trade Mark search. They (TM) are there to deceive potential buyers and create a false sense of security and trust in Proton LED. In addition, Proton LED has only recently filed as a corporation in the state of Georgia, on 03/02/2007, hardly a lengthy track record and one the IRS is keenly interested in.

It should be noted that Paul's Proton LED is in no way affiliated with Europe's Proton LED, an actual legitimate LED technology firm. Could this be intentional? Is it strange that Paul's Proton LED has a British voiced phone and message system? That is probably just a coincidence given that there is such a large community in Lyons Georgia with a British accent. (yes, this was sarcasm)

All of this being said, I will not say that each person dealing with Paul will get burned however I will say that there is certainly potential if he is gaged by his past record.

And to Paul directly I would say, nothing would make me happier in this world than for you to post one of your well know rants or character attacks about me on this post.

Thats not professional, that would not be good even to my worst customer....
I have told the truth. & i am ready to back up everything i said with documentation. I cant speak for andre, or anyone else..But i will sir defend my practices as a businessman. I wrote the bad display off as a bad investment.
Its simply unbelievable that you would offer me my money back now to shut me up. The money i lost on your product i can write off as education..I have llearned a lot about led displays since i first made contact with you. Enough to know that
what you see is not always what you get...But if i can save one person from falling victim to you as i did, then i have done a service to the industry...

I think you are still trying to cover your tracks, but they have made a deep imprint. So do what you may, & i will do the same...

First of all, our attorney on retainer Tommy J. Smith in Vidalia Ga will be sending you both letters in the morning for conspiracy of libelous Slander since you both have named yourselves in your allegation to our corporation. See below for the guilt by association.

Secondly, Andre you have left me no alternative than to go ahead and expose your character in this post and explain to the public where your animosity stems from.

Since you knew that your own credibility and character would be questioned after posting here, it seems you have parked your website www.megatronicsledsigns.com Was it because of the drunken video of yourself in a hidden link as a message from the president of Megatronics? Or maybe your outlandish con game of having 22 imaginary employees on your contact us page, when you have always been a one man show who works out of his house. Don't worry, our IT department took the liberty of backing up your website for you and posting your drunken antics here -

Now for the whole truth from a person who can admit fault if wrong, with out acts of malice and from a credible corporation with references from 3 different financial institutions with a 10 year track record. (q. Darby Bank Vidalia Ga 912-526-7007)

You have asked our company to enter into contractual agreements with you in April of 2006 to manufacture displays for a few of your customers. You were given delivery dates for said contracts dependent on receipt of your full deposits of 50% paid and 50% due on delivery of product with net 30 terms on your first order. Since then you have shocked our entire company by receiving 3 consecutive DUI arrests in the city of Chicago Illinois back to back. When you told us of the first, you stated that your first deposit will be slightly delayed until your court hearing because you had unexpected lawyer fees to pay. We understood and told you we would support you, and that everyone makes mistakes.

As time went on we received partial deposits finally on July 18th 2006 (see link below for bank letter and original contracts) and the remainder of the deposits on August 28th 2006. ( 3-4 months late due to your legal problems and you entering rehab) After which we delivered your first order of these deposits, no doubt very late due to your delinquency of sending funds, and dealing with our schedules and commitments with other clients, upsetting your customer very much, which we helped you in every way possible to rectify.

Because of your instability personally we were forced to change our terms with you to COD for the remaining orders to ensure that we received payment on delivery for such a large sum of money due. You were made aware that you had to have all payments in place ready for COD on the next 2 orders, which you repeatedly would defy stating we should trust you, that when the displays were installed, you would send us the funds. My apologies, but that was impossible due to your prior history of using and mingling your customers funds for legal fees and rehabilitation. in your dilemma. You asked me personally as a principal of our company to write a letter to the Honorable Judge Sachs of Chicago Illinois to plead for mercy on your behalf, which we did (see link below) to grant you rehabilitation for an underlying problem instead of surety of jail time served for 3 consecutive DUI charges, which he granted due to our letter.

All production had ceased upon you entering rehab, as our daily operations must continue and cannot be altered because of Andre's problems.

Since all of this time has now passed and your customers are still left in the lurch I can understand what you must be going through since you have spent portions of their money on your legal problems, hoping that when you install their displays everything would somehow wash. That plan may be valid providing you still had the money to pay COD for delivery, which is why we are now in the situation here on this evil website that doesn't investigate the validity of any claims what so ever. On our link below posted for the public eye you will see an email to Andre that we still have $21,219.00 in escrow belonging to your disgruntled customers which we are in contact with them and their respective attorneys to satisfy Megatronics contracts bypassing Andre and Megatronics at the requests of his customers. Their names, and respective attorneys names, plus email dialog are posted on our website link below for further validity of our claims. As you can see Andre, you have us in a very awkward position with your misled clients, and we have tried to stand firm on our policies and mediate for the common good and benefit of everyone involved in this unfortunate situation. After reading your last post here, I think it best at this point to leave whatever your fate with your customers and their attorneys as we will comply with them and the ethics of what is the right thing to do. Your customers have explicitly asked us not to send you a dime of their money.

As far as the question ability of the performance and service of our products, and to your customers Andre and Rob, We are flying a technician to Chicago at our expense to repair one of your displays, as they feel you have done more harm than good trying to fix it yourself. I had a lengthy conversation with David Packer yesterday and he will confirm the validity of our dialog as well. We will include his information at the Company in Chicago on our link below.

Now as far as you go Rob Carter, You are a conspiring, despicably acting individual. I introduced you to Andre one year ago over the phone as a reference. Ironic huh? The only true statement you have made, is our company was late delivering your display. Things happen sometimes in production and you being in business especially in the sign industry should know that, and i'm sure have been late a time or two on delivery yourself, so he who casts the first stone.....


Rob, on this vile website You made yourself out to be an employee of our company on this posting, only to contradict your ridiculous statements, by stating we sold our own employee a sign? nice try, but next time you try to portray an employee of ours, don't let your wife add a P.S. and don't mention "you sold us" That was a dead giveaway! ( see one of your posts from ROB ) Your testimonies of this, plus the FBI investigations etc... hold about as much water as a screen door! Also I have posted all of your ridiculous emails in our link below of you saying your check was in the mail over and over again.

Just give it up, your charade is over.

Now to be the better man to step up to the plate, Your display holds a 5 year warranty. If it was in fact paid for as agreed we would have honored the warranty and supported it fully. However you chose not to elect that possibility by putting a stop payment on your check, so we put a stop support on your sign! What logic did you have! It's an electronic component that was transported on a truck. I've seen 6 figure displays on Vegas casino's that malfunction from any company. If telephone contact was slow, maybe we were busy, Don't you think we wanted the rest of our money?? Again, what logic you have!!?? Now to be the better man again, and to act like a reputable company, despite all of your slander and allegations, I'll still make you this offer. Send us your display that you claim was used, poor, etc. and we will issue you the full refund of $ 3870.00 that you paid on a $10,000.00 brand new display which we even sold you at a $2245.00 discount in hopes of you purchasing a lot more (Another farce just to get a deal I'm sure, but I try to keep faith in people). The whole stem of your animosity sir, is that it was late, granted. But I think Also, I told you from the beginning you needed a much bigger sign than a 3 foot by 8 foot display to resell advertising in a billboard situation for your new venture Motion Video. That size display that you purchased is suitable for a small restaurant or similar, but really a far cry from a video billboard at that size and is limited. In the future, take the advice of someone who has the experience and don't act with malice on your own stupidity in business. We have worked very hard for many years to build our reputation, only to have people with your proven ignorance displayed here try to slander our name? for revenge? I don't think so. This will be our last post, as our sales have never been better due to the fact that we keep our business ethics and morals sound and solid as our products. We are the only LED manufacturer in exsitence that can and will post video of our displays, because we can. We can admit fault when we are wrong, and will always try to find an amicable solution to any problem that may arise in normal business endevours. Let me reiterate that we have references from 3 financial institutions upon request and hundreds of happy customers worldwide. Our main business is from outside salesmen and not the internet so your really not doing yourselves any justice except to show your ignorance and at this point it's so obvious. I have been ripped off as well!
Proton lies about everything, have a crappy product, horrible/non-existent customer service, and have caused many, many companies lots of grief!!

You did the right thing by stopping payment on your check!

Proton, and their gang are nothing but pathological liers and con artists out to cheat people out of their hard-earned money.

paul you know that the check was stop payment. if you look at the check its said stop payment. we also had to order parts from china. the led sign was suppose to be new . you sold us a used sign that quit working. you would not answer the phone unless we used someone elses cell phone.I had people calling you from diffrence states. now that we have the FBI on the case you will craw in a hole and hide somewhere. yes I am mad because you are a con man and what i hear now there is people all over that gave you money still have no product .

wE HAVE ALL OF OUR PAPER WORK. AND THE PERSON WE HAD LOOKED AT THE SIGN said is the worst product they ever saw. AND THEY WILL COME TO COURT OVER THIS. Before you show someone that check you need to look what the check said STOP PAYMENT. WE had a contract on a brand new sign.If any one has any question please make a comment i will be looking at this every day i will be glad
