Folks:

You had better think twice before working for or using Structural Engineers Inc. That's because they
allegedly have some big problems. They are allegedly discriminatory and refuse to hire the most qualified.

Structural Engineering Idiot principals Jerome T. Fishpaw and Samuel J. Koerper are guilty of discriminating against the long-term unemployed in ways that would make the average person wretch. All these idiots could say to potential interviewers is how their skills are out of date even though studies state otherwise. They never even evaluated the body of work of these candidates. This was verified when the company refused to contact any of the excellent references that were provided because SEI's phone numbers never appeared on the caller IDs on the reference's cell phones. In fact, they never even negotiated with a potential employee about salary and other benefits if SEI could afford to pay them.

Samuel J. Koerper even had the audacity to tell a potential hire that he/she was better fit as a stay-at-home dad/mom with no income for his/her family than to be productive as a structural engineer. I bet he never checked the excellent references of this individual. Did KKK Koerper aka the Koerper Klux Klan aka Scam Crapper check out his/her licenses? Of course not! Is this the common sense that Bryan Croeni, AIA, Principal / Senior Vice President, MBT Architecture, was talking about when he recommended this firm? This reference also saves clients millions of dollars yet Koerper & Fishpaw turned him down. Is this the money savings that David deBlasio, Vice President, General Manager, Gayle Manufacturing Company, had in mind? Of course not! Some people say the alleged reason Sam Koerper is doing this is to give his wife Marie Koerper job security at the San Mateo County Chapter of the National Association of Mental Illness. Anyone who diagnoses patients with depression knows that they must adapt a routine in order to overcome it. What kind of message is Marie sending the public when her hubby Sam denies potential engineers the opportunity to establish one?  A really bad one, folks!

Any clients who hire SEI must think twice before doing so. If this is how they treat potential hires, imagine how they treat their clients!

Many people have asked who they have done business with. They must now be identified for committing the crimes against the long-term unemployed! We are not saying that they shouldn't do business with Structural Engineering Idiots; we are merely showing them what they have done. SEI's inability to save their clients money has been put on display at the various shopping centers in the Bay Area. Thanks to SEI's blatant disregard for the employment of unintentional, accidental, stay-at-home fathers and mothers, the state of California has passed a law banning discrimination against the long-term unemployed. You might say that SEI and the structural engineering community assisted in getting some negative sounding laws passed like long term unemployment job applicant discrimination. Thanks to SEI, lawmakers are considering making companies pay for higher unemployment taxes when they perform this kind of hiring bias.
