STAY AWAY FROM STUART SHERER
Stuart Sherer is a total liar. Do not get involved with this guy. He claims to have financial contacts in South America, Florida, New Jersey and many other places around the country and world. He poses as a commercial lender claiming that he has a 95% success rate. What he fails to tell you is that it is a 95% success rate at taking peoples money.
Do a Google search on his name, "Stuart Sherer NJ", and you will read about him under the heading "Favorite S&L Felonies". His felony is discussed 3/4 of the way down the list. Actually the whole article puts into perspective the types of people this guy associates with.
Go to the NJ courts in Hackensack and see the suits against him.
This a*****e told me that he had arranged financing for a project I was working on. He told me the funds were in place to go ahead and have contracts drawn up, hire attorneys to review the sellers filings, hire accountants to audit the sellers financial docs. He even called due part of his fee which a year later he has not returned. This a**hole cost me well into six-figures in legal fees, professional fees and lost opportunity.
I have since met other people he has swindled money from as well. He even tried to get a loan against my deal. A total scum bag.
Oh and the best part are the e-mails this jerk sent me between himself and his attorney talking about how if he managed to get financing he will cut me out all together if I am not willing to take a much smaller piece of the pie. Needless to say that he was cutting himself in for my shortage.
Now Stuart claims he is the CFO for Competech SmartCard Solutions in Moonachie NJ. If it is true I feel sorry for that company. Stuart will run it into the ground in no time.
Do yourself a big favor and stay away from this guy.

A year later and this a-hole still hasn't paid back the money he stole from me. He is still full of lies: he is trying to sell some stock in a private company called Competech, Competech is raising capital that he is going to get a distribution from, he is going to start collecting social security and will pay me back a little at a time, his son just closed a big deal in the city and will pay the debt. Stuart Sherer is a liar. Investigate his background thoroughly before you invest your time or much less your money in anything connected to this guy. What ever he is telling you is a lie.
