StubHub ripoff deceptive San Francisco California
I bought baseball tickets to a Cub's game that we went to last week for my boyfriend's birthday. Now, mind you, I know NOTHING about sports or buying tickets. I found this website online and I should have known that something was wrong when I found two sets of seats in the same area for different prices. Anyways, I got the tickets and paid $32/ticket (nose bleed for sure. We were the highest people in the stadium).
Come to find out, these tickets were originally $14. I can not beleive that some Joe Smoe can make a 100% profit off these seats that are horrible. I called StubHub and they were rude and said there was nothing they could do becuase there are no refunds on anything they sell.
If you don't know what you are doing, don't buy from here beause I got ripped off. Next time, I will buy them at Ticketmaster where I know I will be happy. I will never buy from them again, nor will anyone I know. Be careful because they will get you if they can.

StubHub is one of the most 'consumer-friendly' and reliable ticket brokers

StubHub is one of the most 'consumer-friendly' and reliable ticket brokers around. Just because you can't read the website, which states "You are buying tickets from a third party; neither StubHub.com nor StubHub, Inc. is the ticket seller. Ticket prices are set by the seller and may differ from face value. ALL SALES AND BIDS ARE FINAL. No refunds, cancellations or exchanges will be issued for date or time changes or partial performances. All prices listed are in US dollars."
They also state that if you should need help buying or selling tickets to call them and they will assist you in the process. So why didn't you call them?? It sounds like you didn't bother to read the website and just picked tickets that were in your price range.
Everyone that I know who has used StubHub has been completely satisfied with their experiences.

Yes I checked the seating chart before I ordered the tickets. Call me naive, and I have never bought these type of tickets before, but I definitely did not have a good expereince and will NEVER buy from them again. They did not tell me that the ticket stubs would have a cheaper price on them.....not to mention, I wanted any cheap seats....we got cheap seats, but not price wise. Next time, I will just buy from ticketmaster or something.

Ticket Brokers

Did you not check the seating chart for the tickets you were going to purchase? Ticket brokers charge up to 500% over face value of what you are buying. It's what keeps them in business. StubHub is actually one of the better ones I have worked with. It's usually how most people end up with the best seats to concerts and sporting events.
