We live in Leonardtown MD.We buy our Propane from Suburban.

We have no choice. It's their tank. It came with the house. SUBURBAN rips its customers off.

$5.09 for a gallon of propane, plus delivery, plus tax, plus hazmat, plus tank leasing fees. A complete rip off! We are on a prorated monthly fee. Suburban lowered the fee and then sent us a bill for $2300 and re-adjusted our monthly payment to $734.

The company is run by idiots. When we called, they said they had made a mistake in the monthly payment so we have to pay the $2300 by August and then $734 a month. It's nice to know that we have to pay for the mistakes of a billion dollar company.

Why should they care? They are idiots.

I contacted Suburban Propane, Hollywood MD and asked them for a price to buy the (my) in ground propane tank, because I was tired of getting ripped off by up to $2 per gallon for liquid propane.  A tank that was installed in 1996, 18 years ago. The cost $1200.  A new tank is $1800.  Just another rip-off by Suburban Propane.  Not only do they price gouge you by up to $2 per gallon for propane, they price gouge you on purchasing the propane tank.

I got a price quote on liquid propane from another local company.  If I own the tank, it's  $3.10.  If they own the tank, it's $3.30.  That's as opposed to $5.09 per gallon from the ripoff company, Suburban

Suburban Propane is a complete ripoff.  People should know that they have a choice and dump this company.

Please cite your source for this company's financial information, it sounds like a good investment.  You do have a reliable source, don't you?
