SUBWAY This company has service issues reflecting mayflies living inside of their ice despenser and had refused to refund me my money after I had drank some mayflies Antioch California
After ordering my food on Novenber 18, 2003 at 10:30am, I sat down to eat inside of subway located at: 3020 Deltafair blvd, Antioch, CA. when I opened my sandwich to place my tomatoe that had almost fell out, I noticed a bug inside my sandwich. I removed it with my napkin to get a closer view. When I have taken it back to the counter to present my complaint, the server had refused to look at the bug on the napkin and refused to refund my money. She offered to remake me another sandwich, and told me to throw the napkin and the sandwich in the trash can.
I then tried to offer her a $2.oo tip for remaking me a sandwich, but she rejected the tip, with a remark stating that there is no bugs in her resturant.
I said thank you as she handed me my sandwich and I sat down to eat half of the remade sandwich after I checked it and saw nothing. I told her to have a good day as I left out on my way to school at Approximately 11:00am.
when I got to school, I sat down and begined to talk to two other students ( Dana and Janice) as I was sipping my soda (Dr. Pepper) I noticed lumps going down my throat as I swallowed the drink. So I decided to remove the lid to look inside, and when I looked inside, I saw Small flys inside. I instantly had gotten sick and ran to the Restroom. Janice came in behind me 2 minutes later and told me that she looked inside my cup and she've seen about 3 to 4 flies inside.
She then told me to take the food back and get a refund.
When I returned up there to ask for my refund, she told me no; I'm not giving you anything back, I think you're just seing things, your crazy. So I went to the trash can to research for the napkin (which was the only thing in there, the sandwich was missing) and pulled it out of the trash to show it to her again, but she still refused to look at it. Then I removed the lid from my soda, and asked her to look at the bugs inside my drink, but she refused to look at it.
Then I asked for her to check her ice from her drink dispenser, but she only refused.
