Succeed Corporation; Internet Speedway I was not reinformed about the 30 day trial expiring when a rep called me every week for the whole month; I was not able to cancel before the trial period was up; after the 30 days were up I was charged the first of 5 payments of $70 that could not be refunded or stopped. Denver Colorado
I ordered a trial box for what I though was the only charge of $9.95, not making a note to cancel the future charges of $70 a month for 5 payments thereafter.
A representative called to assist me after my initial purchase; he had called me about 4 or 5 times to help me along with the process of starting up my business, but each time I told him that it I must have ordered the package at a bad time because I hadn't even had time to open up the box yet! Of course the rules and regulations were stated in the box but I didn't see them because I didn't open it, and he did not inform me of my upcoming expiring dates- instead, I was later told that it was not part of his job to inform me of the upcoming end of the 30 days, which came and passed and of course I found the charge of $70 on my Visa.
I called to complain or possibly for ask for another option, but was basically told I was screwed, because the payments would continue according to the company's policy; and there was no way to get around the payments equaling $350!! I am not working right now and going to school full time, so needless to say I'm money tight and do not need another (wrong & unnecessary) charge I have to pay for!!!
This has totally been the hugest ripoff for me, and have serious reservations about this company and it's 'policies'. I am willing and prepared to fight this because I do not believe this is fair at all to me or anyone succumbing to this ripoff.
