Suddarth & Koor was to issue a first settlement installment to Plaintiff on a given date agreed to in Court.  That date passed and after being ten (10) days late, the Plaintiff's attorney contacted Suddarth & Koor to follow-up on payment.  Suddarth & Koor's response was that they had they had "forgotten" to issue/mail the payment. [**They had forgotten... when, in fact, their client provided them with payment thirty plus (30+) days 'prior' to the due date Plaintiff was to receive Defendant's settlement payment. ]   Hmmm... seems their client could have kept the funds in an account accumulating interest....     Next, Suddarth & Koor was notified six (6) days prior to the 2nd/final installment due date that the Plaintiff would travel to their office to collect the final installment (to avoid a chance of repeated forgetfulness).  Suddarth & Koor did not respond.  Plaintiff phoned Suddarth & Koor, to reconfirm the pick-up date (speaking to Linda) of the final installment payment -- three (3) days prior to the due date.  Suddarth & Koor never advised of their disagreement to such (even after Plaintiff left a number with Linda and e-mailed Suddarth & Koor the date of pick-up).  Instead, they mailed to the check to Plaintiff's lawyer...   Looks like pretty  poor business practice, not to mention sitting on their client's funds for a month and forgetting to pay.  So, consider this before you contact them to represent you.    [Attorney names:  Jerry Suddarth, Andrew Koor, Christine Freeman]
