I've had Suddenlink for about 2 years and it has been a constant headache.  Initially they tried to "lease" me an internet modem I purchased upfront.  Overall the service is shoddy, HD programming is often pixelated and internet speeds rarely reach the "target" speed.

My biggest gripe with Suddenlink is the price and there ability to jack up rates without an explanation.  Initially I was paying $105 a month.  This price included basic cable throughout the house and a single digital dvr along with 8meg internet.

Last month I checked my bill to see a twenty five dollar increase.  I called and received two different stories.  First I was told I was on promotional pricing, then I was told it was a region wide price increase related to them now offering home security (Since I didn't have the service, why would my rate increase?).  The thing that irks me is there was no explanation on my statement of a rate increase or any explanation.

I talked to customer service and they seemed less than concerned with keeping me as a customer.  So I switched to ATT DSL and netflix (costs around 35 bucks total).  So to everyone I highly suggest satelite and DSL as opposed to Suddenlink.  You won't save a dime "Bundling".  Their services are overpriced, the quality is low, and the customer service is terrible.
