Complaint Review: CyberMax Computer Inc.

Suddenly CyberMax cannot be contacted.

I have purchased 5 computers from CyberMax over the last three years. All 5 are still under a 3 year parts warranty. I have used the warranty to replace 3 monitors, a motherboard, and a power supply. Every time their technical support was excellent. However, in early September, 2000 a CD ROM Drive went out on one computer and a hard drive on another. I could not get through on the tech support line. It cuts you off after about 10 minutes. I got through on customer support once and was told I could leave a message for tech support to contact me. I left the message, but haved received no communication. I sent 3 emails. All were returned as undeliverable. Finally I called all the telephone numbers available, including all the sales numbers. I cannot get through to a live person anywhere. I have concluded that this company is either out of business or has made a concious decision to avoid complying with the warranties on its products. I am very disappointed. This company previously earned a direct channel customer service award.
