Sue sweetman of xotic sweetspots aka home of the highlander ripped me off. She sold me a sick kitten. Poor kitten was shipped with eye infection, upper respitory infection, diarhea, ear mites and ringworm. I contacted her when i got the kitty and she said kitty was fine to just mix salt and water and put in his eye. She told me to him scrambled eggs and kitten food purina kitten wet and dry. 2 days later poor kitty eye was still bad he was squinting and had discharge. I told her i was on my way to the vet. The vet wrote up my bill and also everything he was treated for. Sue said i had a bad vet. She also wont help pay bills i want a refund. She send send kitten back. First of all why should i ship kitten back to a animal abuser? No way. Also i told her first to refund money that i am broke now but she is now ignoring me. Found out from a close friend of hers that sue runs business in 3 bedroom trailer. Lots of kittens jammed in one room. Filthy headquarters and found out she hasnt been inspected. She said to me should would never pass inspection due to the way it is set up and sick cats.

I paid alot of money for vet, lotions for me and family, had to put flea treatment on all my pets, on top of it all me and my boyfriend had ringworm too! Found out later from someone that was affiliated with her that her cattery filthy jammed into 1 room of 3 bedroom trailer and is filthy and cant pass inspection. Poor cats. Evil breeder. I have to go back to vet tomorrow

Well after several trips to vet, medicine and prescription food vet finally decided to do pcr panel test. My kitten that i bought from this cattery tested positive for this parasite that can live in my kitten for 2 years not to mention i hope my other 2 cats didnt get it. Also his eye is still messed up and i was told it was herpes and thats for life. This cattery needs to be shut down!!

I find this report troubling and inaccurate. This person has also posted these false accusations on Facebook trying to ruin this business. Pictures she posted were actually proven to be from 2009 not 2017. I have been to this cattery and yes it is a 3 bedroom trailer, so what. The kittens/cats are not kept crowded in one room. When they are newborn they are kept in a nursery, but once they are mobile they are allowed to roam the house where they are socialized and loved on by the owners of this cattery. As for the cat being ill, I find this hard to believe as I know before they are allowed to fly, they are given a vet certificate. In trspect to having earmites, this breed emits a black earwax which can be mistakingly identified by a vet or person unaware of the breed. I also know these kittens are not allowed outside to play in dirt to contract ringworm and they are given a flea treatment a few days before being able to fly. Also, this place is not filthy, it is cleaned on daily basis and I suspect the "friend" is this cattery ex partner and she jumped on the bandwagon to try and destroy Sue's reputation out of spite. It is totally possible this kitten may of become ill during transit, URI, but this is an easy fix by the vet. This woman has acquired a cat from a different cattery in which she made these claims and was refunded her monies and never returned her cats. She wants certain breeds in my opinion but not to pay for them. Depoits are non refundable period dot. If she wanted to return the kitten she would have been refunded. There is no animal abuse going on. Sue has helped many others start there own catteries and has always been happy to help anyone with advice even if not her breed. She has educated herself and does everything she can to improve the Highlander breed. I have purchased kittens from Sue in the past without any issues. I have gotten sick kittens from other breeders URI but I took them to my vet and got them treated. No slamming anyone sometimes during travelling a cat, person etcetra could become sick.
