After placing an an online order with a gift certificate, I was charged for the full amount.

When I questioned the charge and asked for a refund, the "customer service" department was extremelly rude and placed the blame on me, even though I followed the instructions on the certificate. Their comments were:

"If you were a company and had hundreds of orders, what would you do with that? No one knew it was a gift certificate so I guess they simply ignored the comment."

When I told them I didn't appreciate the tone of their email and that I was simply following their instructions, they responded:
"Hey, we aren't mind readers like you expected! You may NOT order here again. Just try it!"

If I had known the company was run by children I would not have ordered in the first place. I most certainly will never do so again, and everyone else would be wise to avoid them as well.

Below is what we got exactly, on the bottom of that order, that told us she had a gift certificate to cash in! With 2-300 orders to fill per day, what made us think that would be a gift certificate do you think? I'm right, I am not a mind reader. We issued a credit when we found out. It isn't like we didn't.

Gift Certificates are exchangable for products only. It is very clear that if they order online, rather than in-store, that they pay all shipping charges. This is clearly written on the gift certificate itself.

When she ordered she neglected to mention that she was using a gift certificate, then blamed us for not knowing.

If she is due any refund she should contact us.
We are looking into this.
