Summer Bay Resorts came up with winner number, told us to call, said we had won a vacation 4 19 days Orlando Florida, Internet
we were on the internet on the 14 september 2007 looking at solar systems and a big colourful message came up saying we were winners of a 19 day vacation to america, staying at summer bay resort in orlando, daytona mexico and the bahamas.
had everything including 7 course meal to shopping spree. the person that i spokr to was rachelle grainy. she said it is fully transferable worth 3898 us dollars.
we still had to pay 1600 australian dollars to get there. that didn't include passports for 4. 2 adults 2 kids and spending money.
then she put me through to a bloke called dave hill who went on to tell me he was going to charge to my credit card which doesn't exist.
told me to call back by the the 21 september 2007 to give cc details and to confirm holiday.
he gave me customer/id number 402UK091407 which i was to tell him when i rang back to get tckets organised through a flight centre.
we were excited at the time cause we have never left australia but it dawned on us that this sounded like a scam.
this should not be allowed to happen to anybody!!
