Summer Bay Resorts sent an solicited email asking me to be their "guest" at any one of a number of vacation resorts stating "Your only obligation will be to participate in a 90-minute sales presentation of our beautiful ownership resorts." It then taped (unknown to me) the sales pitch, which I demured about since I have been to Mexico, the Caribbean, Orlando, etc.

Those folks didn't quit, saying it has a new resort in Costa Rica for $99 - 5 days, 4 nites and a dining plan for another $26. That sounded good so I gave them my visa. Ten days later -- it gives only 7 to cancel while state laws requre 30--my statement showed an additional charge of $996! Then I could not locate a web site for Villsol! I reported this to the BBB, FBI Internet scam website, and Visa and am awaiting their responses.

In the meantime words of advise: Do NOT let them record the conversation since when they played it back to me they had spliced in questions and answers which never happened! Also, if you do book something (it does have a nice facility in Orlando, if they don't put you miles away in a dump motel), and demand a credit card invoice by fax to sign and a guaranteed hotel by name before agreeing to anything.
This is a devious crowd and I am also filing suit.
