Summer Winds Mobile Home Park sold me a house trailer back in 2005. Soomn after managers changed hands and I was informed of a new contract, higher lot rent, and payment schedual lengthened by two years. Typical bait and switch.
Upon completion of second contract, a third contract for lot space was signed. Then payment refused for lot space, told Owner of Summer Winds had title to home held, and I would be evicted.
Soon after that coversation. A stale check that had been reported lost by manager for payment of rent was presented to my bank, which it refused to cash as it was over 14 months old. I had to re issue a second check and pay a late fee for lost check.
But it gets better. my second contract was never signed by Summer Winds Management. he paperwork I have given to me as my home is actually another trailer in another park owned by someone else and has a lein on it by a bank.
Summer Winds management is refusing to talk to me, as is the owner who resides in Californa.
Do not buy here. If your in a contract, leave now as you wont see a title. There has been four trailers taken in this maner lately.

My wife and I both are disabled had to move to more compliant living conditions. With title in hand we went to DMV to sell the Trailer house we have lived in for almost 15 years. Was informed that the person who was on the PRC needed to sign. There was many and it was outdated so I could not get title done today. I was also told the only person who could help was going away for a week.
Having sold the trailer setting at Summerwinds Mobile Home Park I am in a contract and the clock is ticking. Summer winds has used Mobile Home Act Complaint in 2017 to take several homes. I was also informed by a current tennant that management had tried to take her home in the past.
My wife and I spent a half tank of gas, and all day trying to a proper title. Being elderly and disabled I feel we are being targeted again. Im into the second month of paying lot rent and utilies now. This needs to end.

Nice to see the landlord today. Its been quiet lately, and I was surprised to see him in the park lately.
The landlord informed me he had come into some money and was leaving. Things workout for the best I guess and Im glad for him.
Now I asked the manager to look at the sewer next door checked, but he was taking pictures of my yard? Plus recording me as we spoke. I was informed by him there would be no trouble from his forty realitives who are gang members who wanted to cause me harm........so I noted that here.
Made a suggestion of trash dumpsters for the large items and leaves. Security Camereas to monitor the commings and goings here at the park. Better screening of tennants. Better communication with tennants. It would be foolish to think that a man, his family, night school, could keep up on 165 units without being experienced in property management, Im surprised the place is still here. But the suggestions would have eliminated this post.
Its a nice place really, bordered by Pecan Groves, perfect view of the Organ mountains, outside of town, it has been pleasant lately.
I truely am sorry to have to post all this. I became ill and lost my job. I didnt hide or run, and tried to work with the management. My family has lived in this park for over ten years. I agree there is imporvements needed done. But it takes people, and I know I dont react well to some things that has happened.
If your renting, moving in a house, or buying the place, get a reciet, pay your bills on time, and read the park rules......it really looks nice the place has been cleaned up.

After getting a lawyer and sherriff in involvled I finally recieved title to a mobile home I bought and paid for in April, 2010.
The title was not signed properly, and signed in red ink. Very professional and how all thier buisness transactions are handled.
As for paying my lot rent on time. The door is locked, and you can hear people inside. I am forced to slip a money order through a slot. No reciet is provided.
I have to use a money order as I had a check reported lost in 2009 by park managers, and after another was reissued, the check suddenly reappeared and was cashed. The park managers and owner reply to this was, that I was a month short on my payments, so they are forgiving me of that months payments. Then they sent out a 3 day notice stating I was behind and needed to reissue yet another check.
Will add pics of park accomidations.
All phone calls and letter to owner and park managers ahve been refused.

After payment being refused, 3 day noticed served, attacked at local post Office bt Trailer Park Managers and family(police were called), and no real address to owner, who continues to dent and flee, I have turned over all paperwork to an attorney to have all issues addressed. I fear for my wife, as other tenants have also been attacked, and someone is throwing bricks through windows. My landlords son is in my trash every morning. To include 19 seperate court actions against said landlord, in Grant County, Spokane Washington, for doing exactly the same thing, Bullying. There is also reports of sometghing happening at a elementry school, and would explain why landlord cant be within a mile of a school. I will try to include some pictures of this cash cow as it is advertised.
