Complaint Review: SUMMERHAVEN MOBILE HOME PARK

Summerhaven Mobile Home Park consists of terribly old mobile homes for rent. Everything about the park is poorly maintained and many of the homes smell like sewer. They do not groom the grounds or trim trees to avoid damages to the homes.

Their maintenance crew consists of the managers father and his wife. The sewer is constantly getting stopped up and you practically have to threaten calling the city to get things fixed, then it is done halfway.

The houses are leaky (with air) and although the lease promises heaters, there is no heater at all in my house. I am not complaining about this because it is a lease-breaker.

They said when we rented that there were hardly any Hispanics here,mostly white and African-American and that the ones that were here are not allowed to blast their music late at night. That is all a lie. The park is full of them and they drive full speed over the speedbumps with radios blaring. I even saw one riding a bicycle smoking dope.

I do not recommend that anyone rent here or park their rv here.
