Summit Consulting, PMI, NMR,Erik Largin, Jm Cochran Ripoff Deceptive practices, Undisclosed fees, Extremely poor service American Fork Utah
In Feb I purchased a real estate foreclosure program through Summit Consulting.I did not know that the program was through Summit Consulting I was told that I was purchasing through PMI (Professional Marketing International). When I contacted PMI they told me I had purchased through NMR (National Marketing International) and NMR said I had purchased through Summit Consulting. This alone is very deceptive and misleading. I tried to work this program and have not had any success. I called Summit on numerous occasions and left messages. I tried to contact Mr. Jordan Mathena but received no response. Finally someone at Summit did speak with me, a Mr. Erik Largin. I explained to him my dissatisfaction with the program and that I wanted a refund. He told me that the policy was that Summit would work with me until I had recouped my investment. I explained to him that my husband and I had both quit our jobs to work this program (stupid move, letting him know). He now insists that the only reason we want our money back is because we are not working and need the money. I told him that jobs can be found if you are willing to look. Besides if the program really works why would I need to look for a job. He told me that he would have to speak with Jordan and Jim Cochran, and that he would call me back. He didn't call back, so I called him. He said the person I need to speak with was Jim Cochran, so I called him, I would rather not have spoken with him at all, he hears only his side of the conversation and ended our conversation with "Some people make money, Other people make excuses (came off to me that I was being called lazy or a sucker haven't deciced which or probably both). I filed with the BBB of Utah but have not gotten any satisfaction with Erik's responses. So I have sought legal advice on what to do about this situation. The problems I have with his products and coaching are: The software is pretty much useless the one only advertises for the Tax Club, The other is a Lou Diamond seminar. The company I was told I was working with was PMI when actually it is Summit Consulting. After signing up I then was convinced to set up a corporation through Advantage Services, and sign up with the Tax Club. (The Tax Club has agreed to a full refund. Haven't received it yet) I was told that I could not fail because I would be the next success story infomercial (what was I thinking). I will post update after I visit my attorney later this week.
