Complaint Review: Summus Works

Summus Works Inc. has a ceo named Daniel Burgess. Recently Mr. Burgess announced his company was reducing shares in his company to raise the shareholder value. The reduction seems to have been in the restricted shares and added to the common share with an increase in common shares but a reduction in restricted shares. This caused me to look into the company.

Summus claimed they had a subsidiary of Stockli Ski. I called Stockli Ski at 303.220.9793. I was told by Stockli Ski that the company knew Daniel Burgess but he nor his company was a part of Stockli Ski. There was some hint of a merger but nothing specific. I had to press the company to get that information. i felt that stockli was not telling the whole story. at any rate the summus claim that stockli was a subsidiary was not true as stated in their information found in the company info section on the pink sheets.

Summus claimed that rsn broadcast was a subsidiary and had several tv outlets. I emailed the ceo of rsn a Jeff Dumais. phone 207.772.5000. Mr Dumais stated that his company was privately owned and he had never heard of dan burgess or summus works.

Summus stated they were going to buy a tv station in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and broadcast over the bresnan communications network as Jackson Hole tv 66. I talked to bresnan communication to see if they had any contracts for advertising. the phone i called was 307.733.3931. I was told by a paul that there was no Jackson hole tv 66 scheduled to broadcast over their network.

Summus claimed they were going to broadcast in Big Sky Montana, a ski resort, on klip tv. I called the local klip tv representative at 800.388.6577 and spoke to a supervisor named amanda. she had never heard of summus but suggested that i contact ackworth cable who owned the local cable network.

In addition, Mr urgess Bhas claimed he was going to build a Summus center building in Denver. That has not happened.
