Sun Ray Marine did not follow verbal agreement and customer service sucks Largo Florida
I was sold a boat with white interior cushions, picked the boat up and it had gray/back cushions. was promised they would be replaced. never happene Purchased a brand new boat on October 29, 2012 from SUNRAY MARINE. Blue and white boat was delivered with grey cushions. Danny and Keith both personally promised the white cushions that were on the boat when we were at pre signing would be delivered.
Well Keith pushed us on to "the service department" where we came into contact with Eric who eventually after several months told us that if we wanted the correct cushions we would have to call the manufacturer directly on our own. Felt like they all just pushed under the carpet. I guess they already had our money. Took the boat in for a squeak in a brand new motor and an oil change. Eric "the service manager" Quoted me $180.00 for the oil change.
Went to pick up the boat and the bill was over $250.00, when I asked Eric about the increase his reply was well oil just went up. They did not have the balancing shaft at the shop so they had to order it. Well three weeks later had to call Eric " the service manager" to see if our part was in his reply was oh yes we have the part do you want to schedule an appointment, yes next Tuesday. Bring the boat to SUNRAY MARINE on Tuesday Eric says we cant look at the boat for three weeks because we are busy getting ready for the boat show.
After spending $47,000.00 dollars at SUNRAY MARINE we still do not have our cushions on a brand new boat. Never did we get a call from Danny our salesman to see how we were enjoying the boat, Keith the sales manager also did not follow through on anything. I also mentioned the head door has a big gap in it that allows water to get inside...it's all moldy. They never even acknowledge the complaint. Eric "the service manager" is dishonest and a poor representative to have in a customer service position!! BUYER BEWARE SUNRAY MARINE!!!
