ok we paid SUN TRIPs a travel agency/charter airline company close to 7 thousand dollars fir 6 of us to fly from LAX to hawaii. we were garenteed 3 nights in a 4 star hotel in hanalulu next to waikiki beach, then we were to fly over to Maui for 4 nights in a 4 star resort, then back to LAX.

when we got to LAX on saturday morning at 6am on the 4 of aug, we went to check in our baggage at the suntrips check in next to pleasent hawaiian, and we were told we were delayed tell 1am in the moring bcuz they had a plane problem in san fransico.

so they flew our plane there because they felt they would make more money this way, and that frisco was a higher priority. so bcuz of this they put all 350 of us in the radassin hotel next to the airport thinking they could acomadate us.

well first of all we are all from that area so its nothin special, plus the hotel was really ugly and being remodeled and so it was extremly torn apart and in a bad state. wel after we get to the air port we wait tell bording time and they tell us the plane is delayed another 2 hours. so everyone is pissed off and we finally bored, then after that we spend another hour on the take off strip for who knows what reason?? finally its like 330 and we are talkin off. they had horrible service on the plan and everyone was still upset.

well after we arive in hanalulu, we check into hour 4star hotel, i mean 2star bcuzz they lied to us.this hotel was a 2star. the place we were in "the aston coral reef was a dump. we told the front dest we would pay anything for there bext room and the lady said we were in the best room.i guess it was the best room cuzz out the window we could see all the hookers working the streets. . . so, being displeased 3 times already we still tried to have a fun time. after it was time to leave hanalulu we flew on aloha air to maui, there service was better in the 20minute island hop, then the five hours on the plan to hanalulu.

so now we arive in the lower south part of maui and we get to a place next to the resort and rent all this snokel and boards and what not, then we go to check in, well then at the desk we find out that sun trips over booked us at this 4star resort, so we were being relocated to the northside of the island and spent lots of time driving and we finaly get to our place. it was ok ,but not the same as the place we were supose to stay in. so we go around bumed trying to have a fun time.

last but not least, wen we fly into LAX we noticed that they were destroying the bags as they loaded them up in the tranfer car. we then go to luggage claim and every one waited 2 hours and nothing came out from hour flight. everyone was enraged and said this was there first and last time using sun trips. people were trying to get a patician goiong around against Sun Trips.

we all stormed to the desk, all 350 of us and demanded to no where our luggage was. finally it started to ocme out anbd bagges were wide open and we saw emty bags and broken bags and it was chaos. all 350 of us said sun trips was first and last time using them, people where talking bout charging back credit cards and suiing them. and pople were saying they head bout this stuff happening b4 but they went along anyways, then on the net we found out that they did a grad trip to cancoon 6 months earler and on they way home they airlines tel them all get drunbk on the plan and the piloit new and didnt care, and there was a thing about it on tv aswell.

so i strongly suggest to all who plans to fly sun trips, dont, if u want that cheaper charter plane cost, use pleasent hawaiians, becuuse i useed them 2 years ago and they really were pleasent.

Suntrips is a SCAM!

The person who complained about Suntrips being a scam is being completely honest! Suntrips is a scam and there are numerous travel agents as well as consumers who have been scammed by them. They owe thousands and thousands of dollars. I'm sure like other companies, they have some customers who are very happy with the service they've provided in the past years. However, in the past year, they've done nothing but scammed everyone. They seem to be operating under the same website and phone number but for persons wanting a refund, there is a California phone number to call. I'm not sure why, but there is no live person to answer this phone number and no recording on the answering machine. Please be aware that if you continue to book with this company or at this website you may be the next victim of fraud by this company.

Responds to $7G on Bum trip. I have personally used suntrips 9 times to travel to Honolulu within 3yrs. Suntrips are the most reasonably priced airline that travels to Hawaii. I'll break my comments in pros and cons..

Pros.
1. Best airline and package prices
2. Cheapest airline price all year around
3. They go through different airlines exp: Ryan international, American west, and sometime North American. AW and NA are the best. 3/2 odds
4. Every now and then they have a weekend special where you fly out at Friday morning and come back at Monday afternoon for only $99 after tax, $127

Cons.
1. Ryan international planes decline only about 2inches. (What a waist of money building in the buttons and functions on the seats.)
2. When they have delays, they really have delays. Anywhere from 3hrs to 24hrs. (they provide room/meals)
3. Very strict on size of carry-ons and number of check-in baggage's.
4. When I called in to book that $99 weekend special they said they were all booked out, but the next available price is $125 roundtrip :) $149 after tax. Darn you suntrips!!! :)

4pros--4cons

One suggestion I can give is, just fly with them for the cheap flights, but book your hotel and transportation with someone else.
Best suggestion I can give is, make friends in Hawaii so you get free R/B. plus you'll save a lot of money partying like a local and not a hoale.

Fun Trips

I have flown on Sun Trips and let me say that they are the most reasonably priced airline I have ever used. The flight was comfortable and the service was excellent. They handled my luggage just fine. I urge you all to not listen to this person who had so many bad (and badly spelled) things to say about the airline.

I think the person who spent 7 thousand dollars ought to have used that money for schooling. His / her spelling and language was terrible. Not to mention paid way to much.

I have used suntrips and they are extremely reasonable in price, approximately $700 per person for about the same thing, why they spent 7 thousand is beyond me.

Also sun trips was very enjoyable, on time and helpful. Another issue when traveling with a charter company it is also smart, if you have any, to go online and check out the hotels, etc. instead of just excepting the offer.
