I received a letter dated July 10, 2007 with a check attached for the amount of $4700 and letterhead is Sun Trust Finance Inc. and check attached was issued by Tyco Electronics Corporation, Payroll Dept. 161-51/12924, P.O. Box 3608 Harrisburg, PA 17105.

Fred Harris at 778-321-0475 is the claim agent and Cynthia Barton is the tax agent as stated in the letter.

On July 27, 2007 I sent the amount of $4725 thru Western Union to Cynthia Barton at 4360 Parlament Rd., Nova Scotia, Canada representing $2800 as tax amount and $1685 as insurance because according to Fred Harris, USPS won't deliver the money of $450,000 without insurance.

After sending those money Fred Harris was asking again $2500 due to the custom won't release the check because of my status as Canadian Non-Resident. This time Fred Harris gave me the custom agents namely George Backer or John Jones at 1725 Oak Ave. and Byron Wells at 2964 Queensway Ave. both in Toronto Canada.

Fred Harris is still contacting me about the $2500 which I told him I already sent the money by giving him an invalid number. He still eager to get that money.

Hopefully this report will help the consumer be aware of this fraud because I found out there was another victim from Long Beach when I received the bounce check under different name. The bank mistakenly sent check under different name for the same amount of $4700.
