We bought a hot tub from Sunwest. In which we were worried about the warenty part of it. They said " no problem there we have alot of people up your way who will work on it for us. Okay we thought great. We had a year warenty. The portioning value wouldn't work right. Realy hard to turn.

It finally broke. Then the wanted to sell us one for $10. It was only a couple months old. Then the ozone generator went, and leeked all over the heater. The heater made noise from that day on. We called and called they were supose tp send a tec out.

Everytime we called someone differnt would be there. They played like we never called. Tell us that person was fired. Or they gave us the wrong information. Everytime we'd call it would be a differnt story. Then all the jets started falling out. We'd call and call all we'd get is the same runaround.

Finally the ownwer calls says he has a job to do out here and will come by about 3 so we wait no call no show. Finally call at 8:00 that night wanting directions. It was dark out. Had at least an hour drive before the got here. We finally called the manufacter of the jets they told us they wont do anything with these people they owe them money and won't pay. He was very nice and sent us all new jets. The heater just quit working and we had to have work done on it. To do ozenator leeking over control pannel it has caused seveal problems.

These people do not follow through with with what they say they do not warrenty there tubs. They never warentied one thing with there tubs.

In October of 2002, Mr. Brett purchased a discontinued, BLEM hot tub from us. We do not extend warranties on seconds which are purchased at a fraction of the normal retail price. Despite this, we have a folder full of notes from the customer calls which began in January of 2004. Please note that even a one-year warranty would have run out before he started calling. We DID go to great lengths for purchaser of a half-priced product who understood at the time of purchase that this spa is a BELM spa and sold as-as with no warranty.

1-24-04 Talked with in-house tech that walked them through adjusting the pressure switch noted problem fixed

1-27-04 Customer e-mailed pictures of jet bearings falling out. This is a normal occurrence with rotating jets, and is not covered by any warranty, usually due to not keeping the proper maintenance and pH balance of the spa chemicals.

3-4-04 Reported 3 jets not working, we explained jet wear-and-tear is normal, not a warranty item, usually due to not keeping the proper maintenance and pH balance of the spa chemicals. We offered to sell him replacement jets, he declined.

3-15-04 We had Mr. Brett talk to the telephone technician for pack manufacturer. After calling several times and using different names each time, he was told to pull and send them the pack and they would send him a new one. He was rude to the factory representative.

3-31-04 Despite lack of warranty on jets, we replaced ALL 40 of them. Mr. Brett received them on 3-31-04.

4-20-04 Reported hearing a noise when heating. We contacted a technician from Port Orchard to go on a service call. Service call completed.

Mr. Brett complained of even more problems after the service call, a Sun West factory technician drove 360 miles from Woodburn, Oregon to Gig Harbor Washington, and yes he arrived later than he thought he would. They did not open the door to our technician.
