Complaint Review: Sunburst Shutters

Sunburst Shutters Kimball and Greg WORST BUSINESS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! Major delays in work performed, two months to take the order and when taken it was with errors, failure to communicate for one month that they couldn’t deliver the product contracted for, poor customer service, multiple delays, misinformation regarding products, delivery dates, and site of manufacturing Placentia California

We used Sunburst Shutters back in 2006 and had a good experience. Assuming the business standards remained the same, we made the huge mistake of ordering with them again in 2018. The company's business standards have unfortunately deteriorated quite a bit: there is zero communication, zero follow up, multiple mistakes in handling the order, and negative values for customer service!! We placed the order and signed the contract at the beginning of June 2018, and first of all there were major errors in transcribing the order from quote to contract, then they made mistakes in placing the order to their subcontractor, then it took them close to two months to realize they couldn't deliver on the design initially promised, then after multiple delays we were told that the delivery date was "first week in October 2018". This is FOUR MONTHS after placing the order and signing the contract!! It is the THIRD WEEK in October, FOUR MONTHS SINCE PLACING THE ORDER, and still no word and no update from Sunburst Shutters!

This is definitely the worst customer service we ever experienced. What is even more concerning, after more than ten emails and four phone communications with Sunburst's management, they seems oblivious to this ongoing nightmare we have been submitted to, and seem not to care about any issues with the Sunburst Shutters office in Orange County, which is obviously mismanaged. The other explanation may be that the company's management only observes "OBN" (or "old boys network") and simply doesn't care about this office's lack of performance and extremely poor customer service and they simply sacrifice their customers to "protect their own". Besides Yelp we are also posting same concerns to other social media sites such as Consumer Affairs, Ripoff Report, BBB, Facebook, Contractor from Hell etc. to let potential customers know and beware.
