Complaint Review: Sundays Blue Blox Tanning Resort

This Company is all about False Advertising and not fulfilling there end of the contract when you pay for what they sell you on.  They just rip you off.  Here is what they say on there web site and brochures. 

They are dedicated to providing there members and guest with the ultimate tanning experience. Michael Ligon the owner has 13 locations in the Hampton roads area. 

I was sold on a a platinum 6 month membership for around 69 a month the best they offer.  That would give me the best tan as promised by the company in the contract.

I decided that I would use there spray tan units for the best ultimate tanning experience they are so dedicated to.  So I start going looking for that great tan they sell you, I quickly realized I had been sold on false advertising. 

I would go into some locations and the employees would not have the spray tan solution filled so you came out looking well have you ever seen what a spray can does when it gets clogged imagine that all over your body and what you look like.  The first few times I was patient and just even paid for the upgrade of 11 dollars each time for the prep, and hydration and asked for them to check the bottles before I went in.  One time the girl asked for my key she said any key would open it OK. 

So I figured I would try different locations maybe they would have things working a bit better oh no.  I went to the one off of Ferrel Parkway and not only does the machine not talk like all the others and tell you when to turn and what position to be in.  Well only 1 out of 16 times I went to the salon was the machine actually working and I did not come out like a speckled mess.  When a customer is sold a product and a service under contract each and every location should work to the standards they sell you on.  Well they don't when the machines are down they send you miles away to another location who has time for that.  Then you wounder well is it even going to work.  I have bought the products to prolong and moisturizer the tan everything!

I personally spoke to the district manager on July 16th 2010 at the princess anne location that I was sent too because as usual the ferrall parkway one did not work and was down.  The owner refuses to rectify the situation and repair or replace the machine yet still sell customers on the spray tan that they come in for that his company sells.  The district manager assured me they were fixing it.  I went in for another try at Ferrel parkway again the machine was down and did not have time to go to another location.  I then paid for 29 for a custom spray tan I came out a speckled mess and looked worse than when I came in. 

I could not be more unhappy with the quality and false advertising and I'm considering taking them to small claims court.  I have personally started writing letters certified mail to the owner and mangers and when I go into the locations try to tell them to fix these problems.  They just smile and blow you off and come up with excuses.  I would never ever recommend wasting a penny on this company they do not provide you what they sell you on. 

This company and owner has completely gone against every word of the contract I have signed up for on every level and not fulfilled there end of the deal. 

IF YOU WANT A SPRAY TAN DO NOT GO TO SUNDAYS BLUE BOX TANNING RESORT THEY ARE NOT CONSISTENT AND WILL WAIST YOU TIME AND MONEY. 

Something all of us are short on these days but the owner and managers could care less about the customers because they are happily ripping you off.
