SUNMOUNT These Clients (Pedophiles, Rapists, Murderers, ETC.) have more rights than the employees! Tupper Lake New York
Let me tell the world about the mistakes made at Sunmount, a Secure Treatment Facility. About 90 Percent of the people receiving treatment in this facility are criminals. They weren't deemed "sane" enough to go to prison for their actions (Let me tell you that there's pedophiles, murderers, rapists, and the like living in the facility).
The employees have to punish these people EXACTLY by regulations, even if they are assulted, maimed, or permanently disabled by these criminals. If you so much as leave a scratch on the person, trying to calm them OR defend yourself, you risk losing your job. There's NO real form of punishment for these people if they assult employees, the worst that happens is they may be put in "time out" for a short time. To make matters worse, employees are not allowed to file criminal charges against these people! (Although we have attorneys working to change that).
Another outrage is that one of the "rights" of these criminals is that they take walks throughout the community, unrestrained, although supervised. The residents of Tupper Lake are unaware that convicted child molesters, or rapists are walking the streets. So if any of us happen to be taking a walk with our family, one might meet up with some of these sickos. Unaware that a potentially dangerous criminal may be staring at one of your children, pondering the thought of raping and brutalizing one of your children.
TELL ME -- WHERE DOES MEGAN'S LAW FIT INTO THIS PICTURE??

If what you say is true Sunmount sounds like a terrible place to work at. I have been reading all of these negative reports about Sunmount and they are pretty shocking.
I am wondering who this Jim Lavair is however. He claims that Sunmount is a very good place to work and if you read his reports has nothing but good to say about the work enviorment and benifts.
Also emloyee Gary Wright says and I quote from one of his posts "nor am I a pervert like those at Sunmount". It looks from what he has posted its the inmates who are in jeapordy.
Are these two employees part of the managment at Sunmount just trying to cover all this up? If not maybe some of you should should confront these two and ask them. I for one think they are lairs.
