On July 23, 2018 My 2016 tacoma involved in a wrecked.  I traded it and spoke to the same person who sold me the 2016 tacoma.  This person decided not to follow through my request about wanting a full cab truck and that I want exactly the same vehicle I asked for.

4 days later, Michael Battle  "salesperson" responsible" for this transaction guaranteed that I got the truck I asked for except its a 2018.  Upon signing paperworks, I asked them to park the new truck next to my 2016 tacoma.  I was told that they have to keep it in the back until all paperworks were done.

When we finished signing the papers, we realized that the truck is a short bed one.  Not exactly what I expected.  This salesman took it upon himself to decide which truck I should have cause according to him, our credit is not good enough for what we wanted.  Remember, I didn't ask for an upgrade.

Just wanted the same truck.  Michael Battle "salesperson" also told me that eventhough he sold me the 2016 tacoma, he can't remember if it was a long cab or if its black and black on the interior.  This salesperson took this sale from another salesperson because I was his customer.

I paid $10,000 more for this new vehicle eventhough its not what I wanted because I don't want to deal with their balony sales talk.  39,000 miles later, the radio went out meaning my gps and other issues that were attached to this defected part is no longer on warranty they say.

On November 29, 2018 I was told that they can't read it on their computer  I waited 4 hours later.  I canceled my plan to Florida because I need my gps to travel.  I was promised that they will resolve it within a week and will order the part.

They said, since the radio is out of warranty at 36,000 miles that I have to pay for it and pay to install.  I spoke to a General Manager, he promised that he will call back, never did!  A service staff and a service manager were also involved in this issue also failed to follow through the procedure.  And today I called again inquiring about the part.

I was told it was in back order and I asked if all the trucks make and model like mine are on recall.  They said no.  So, I called Toyota Customer service and was given a case number 1912200484. We are now going on the 3rd week.  Nothing will happen so far except wait for someone to call me by Monday.

The fact that these staffs are unprofessional and lies about the whole thing is what gets me.  Service on that location is very poor.  I personally will not buy another car from this location.  My experienced with them is ridiculous.

Toyota is not honoring their promised to make it better.  All I get is an empty promises.  It is a ripped off when I have to pay for my radio and the vehicle is under warranty for 3 years.

So you bought a truck unseen and it wasn't the truck you wanted? Did they at any time up to the signing of the papers hold a gun to your head?  If they did not, then everything you wrote after saying you signed the papers about not getting the truck you wanted is YOUR OWN FAULT. End of story

Nothing in Your Report Supports Your Claim of a Rip-off or Fraud

It is totally your fault that you overlooked the truck features during the test-drive and prepurchase inspection. GPS is not a requirement to travel. Grab a map.

Your vehicle is out of warranty. The manufacturer’s warranty coverage is for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first. There was nothing fraudulent about the sale. You are suffering from a case of buyer’s remorse.

How NOT to buy a car

Congratulations, you did just about everything you should NOT do when deciding to buy a car.

I was told that they have to keep it in the back until all paperworks were done.
- And you fell for that? This tells us that you didn't even test drive the truck, let alone look at the truck before you signed the paperwork.

When we finished signing the papers, we realized that the truck is a short bed one. Not exactly what I expected.
- Of course it wasn't what you expected because YOU didn't even look at the truck before you bought it.

This salesman took it upon himself to decide which truck I should have cause according to him, our credit is not good enough for what we wanted. Remember, I didn't ask for an upgrade.
- Upgrading has nothing to do with this. If the cost of the new car is more than you could get approved for, even if it WAS the same car you had before you aren't going to get it. But let us guess...you didn't even validate the credit when they "ran" it..did you?

I paid $10,000 more for this new vehicle eventhough its not what I wanted because I don't want to deal with their balony sales talk.
- That was YOUR choice and 100% on YOU. You had numerous opportunities to walk out without signing the deal.

39,000 miles later, the radio went out meaning my gps and other issues that were attached to this defected part is no longer on warranty they say.
- "They" are right. Your warranty was 36,000 miles OR 3 Years. Whichever one comes first. Since you are at 39,000 you are 3,000 miles over your warranty coverage.

My experienced with them is ridiculous.
- With your concept of car buying, it doesn't matter where you go.

What you posted here is nothing more than your stupidity and a huge case of buyer's remorse..

Enjoy your truck.
