Sunrun contracted to install solar, then reneged without informing me, costing me months of delays.  After waiting months more, I spoke with Chaz Blackburn, the sales rep [(916) 581 0363], and Shawn Doerflein [(303) 942 8108] who confirmed the cancellation but would not provide the reason.  After pressing, Chaz told me the roof was too steep.  Their decision to not inform me cost me months of time as I waited.

So I signed up with another company.  After more months of delay I called to ask why they had not installed solar per our contract.  The reason - Sunrun has refused to cancel the permit, seemingly out of pure meanness.  Although I own the house and did not even know Sunrun pulled the permit, LA does not allow me to cancel the permit until six months have passed.

I called Sunrun dozens of times.  Most calls were abruptly disconnected or I was forwarded to non-working lines.  Chaz and Shawn are no longer available, nor is customer support.  Sales is available, but can't help with problems.

Sunrun is forcing me to file a civil suit just to install solar panels on my own roof.  If you enjoy being deceived and going to court to regain control of your own roof, by all means sign up with Sunrun.
