Sunset Group, Fishermen's Village, Sunset Royal Sunset Group, Fishermen's Village, Sunset Royal Timeshare fraud, misrepresentation and scam Ripoff 77509, Q. Roo, Cancun Mxico
there are misrepresentation, mislead, and fault information been told during the sale of the contract.
Here is the list of items that are different.
1. During the presentation we were told that it is FRACTIONAL OWNERSHIP, NOT A TIMESHARE. In fact the whole presentation was based on showing benefits of fractional ownership" vs timeshare. But in reality the contract stipulates that you are buying a TIMESHARE, and you WILL NOT OWN THE PROPERTY OR ANY PART OF IT !
2. salesperson assured us that the resort would purchase the timeshare back if we do not use it
3. salesperson told us we can sell the extra unit back to the company every year to make some money to offset the maintenance fee.
4. salesperson give us 6 months no payment period for this time share.
5. salesperson apply a application for a new credit card with our names and not letting us know about it.
6. we were not told about the international exchange fee on the charge.
7. we were not told about the cancellation period for this contract and right to cancel. No where on the contract indicate this option also.
there sale and contract are misrepresentation, mislead, and fault. don't signed any contract with them.

I'm sorry,
I was reading this report because I'm considering buying a timeshare, and I have read a few things from the comment above that seem strange.
For example:
"3. salesperson told us we can sell the extra unit back to the company every year to make some money to offset the maintenance fee."
When you sell something... you don't have it any more. Unless you would buy the extra unit back from the company.... how would you have it to sell back to them the next year? I'm not sure if either the salesperson was wrong... or if you misunderstood what the salesperson said.
One of my relatives had nothing but good things to say when they went on the Mexico presentation trip, so this simply baffles me.
