This firm is covert, proficient and sly in their scamming, lying and downright thievery. I can't believe that I did, but I did sign a timeshare agreement with them. After reading it through the next day, it became clear that what I bought and what they said they sold me did not match.

I sent a certified letter to their Miami office electing to terminate the contract within two business days. And then I closed the credit card account and thought that was that. But, according to my bank (Bank of America) their charge came through on the same day I closed the account. Handy for the thieves, don't you think?

The original papers were signed on Friday, June 6, 2008 and my letter of termination was sent DHL express on Tuesday June 9, 2008. I then began bi-weekly calls to their Miami and Mexico offices asking for my refund. Each time they promised it would be here "next week" or "within the next couple days." The credit finally came through on October 24, 2008.

The amount in pasos reimbursed to me was the same, however it did not cover the total of the USA funds they had drawn in the first place. The rate of exchange created a shortage of $1,078.96 to me and on my account, even after the bank credited the foreign exchange fees.

I have talked with multiple people at this firm and have left multiple messages without call backs. I am in need of good lawyer because I would rather shut them down then see this happen to anyone else. I'm livid.

It is always best to hire someone skilled to do so, unfortunately in most cases these companies dedicated to cancel timeshares usually cheat for the second time to their customers since they are vulnerable and desperate. If you are thinking of hiring them you just have to make sure you do not have to make any payment upfront ... I found these articles that speak precisely about this, you should read them, that might help you to resolve many doubts:
