I wish I had done my homework before taking this fall. We were just in Cancun from Juky 26th to August 1st, 2008. Like many other people we fell in love with Cancun. They certainly saw us comming. Our salesman, Mike Lanthier, showed us suites at Lagoon and Sunset Royale. We were very confused by the fact that the studio suites appeared larger than the one bedrooms. We had him take us back a second time to confirm that this was what we wanted. I am a financial planner and did not want any part of the 9.9% financing. I made the grave error of paying cash up front.

As soon as we returned to Canada I contacted Sunset group and had them clarify the floor plans. Big surprise!! we were sold the wrong unit. Then in an effort to compensate they offered us an upgrade at a reduced price. This was also followed by ice plantinum membershi and points. My husband and I agreed to the upgrade. Then they contact us again and say oh my manager has decided that we need an addition 3315.

He had stated in the original email that it would be an additional 1165. Now they have not returned any emails at all. I am Canadian and would appreciate information regarding the agencies in Canada to contact. We fully intend to have this contract declared null due to their misrepresentation. I never wish to go back to this Country again . Desperate in Vancouver, BC.
