I live in NC and I had just moved when these two grils came to my door and said the go to the local college. They told me they were selling magazines so they could get points so they could go on a trip with their class. I know it is hard to do some of the things because I went to the same college and you do have to work hard to go on trips. Well I keep waiting and waiting for the magazines to come in because I ordered a Disney learning book for my 5yr old son. I keep checking my bank account and a few weeks later they deposit my check of $113.00 dollars on Febuary 18, 2006. I waited and waited for them to come in but now its April 28, 2006 and I see they are never coming in. I try calling my bank and they said there is nothing they could do since the Sunshine agency has cashed my check. So I hope the same does not happen to anyone else.

I just want to make it clear that I know nothing about this Sunshine agency. The mag salespeople I have encountered never would tell me who they were working for. So I don't know what company they were employed by....

Years ago, I was the manager of store in a local mall. We had a big problem with traveling magazine salesKIDS. They were obnoxious and knew they weren't suppose to be hassling mall customers, but they did constantly anyway. I get magazine saleskids now about 6 times a year at my house. They always lie and tell me they are my neighbor and are trying to earn points/money for a school trip. My response is usually "Oh, are you Karen Foster's daugher"? "Uhhh..yeah, they'll respond. I reply "really? Who is Karen Foster, because I totally just made that up"....I don't wait to see who these people are working for, I just tell them to get off my porch.....
