What seemed to be a very nice young man was coming around trying to get people to buy subscriptions. He told me he was trying to get enough credits to open a tatoo parlor.

It didn't occur to me until later that he probably saw my tatoos and just thought of that. He made comments about my age and how he used to work in a bar and he would have carded me because I didn't look over 21. He said people were treating him badly while trying to sale and when I told him maybe he shouldn't start off by telling them he wanted to open a tatoo shop, he told me he had to say it because he didn't want to be dishonest.

I asked him how they were asking to be paid and he said I could pay now or later, but they get extra credits and a 10% bonus if the person pays with a check, he preceded to laugh and said I could even just give him the keys to my car.

I told him I couldn't afford any of their magazines and he told me that a neighbor just donated 20$ to his cause and he would take it and put it towards a subsription. After signing a check for highlights for children, he gave me two reciepts and a stub and left after saying he wished everyone was like me.

Five minutes later my neighbor came out and told me her sister looked them up on this website and they were frauds. I went inside and transfered all of my money and put a hold on the account. It wouldn't do any good to put a stop payment on the account because they don't really care about your check, they now have account number and routing number and that is all they want.

BE AWARE... They will try to enlist your children. A few months ago they aproached my 18 year old brother and offered him the world to come and help sale mags. all over the country. They pulled up in a van and aproached him telling him to be at some hotel that night if he wanted to go. He did go but quit the next day because he said they had all of these weird rules and he said they were making him say a bunch of lies just to sell these mags. Please>>>>> tell your kids about these guys, they offer kids 100$ a day and try to get them to enlist and they don't give them any info and before you blink they are gone to another state.
