Quoted Price: $3,300.04

Everything had been loaded aboard a 26 ft truck on the previous move Sept 26, 09

Halley assured me that this was a very realistic estimate.

Generally the helpers were good & respectful of the furniture; however being short on padding was a problem. I was shocked that the mattresses were not covered nor properly protected.

As the truck got packed Sal said he thought it would not all fit on the 27ft truck & he should have to order a new truck to finish the load. We needed about 2 feet more that the 27 ft truck could hold.

He said he needed room of 2 ft from the door of the truck & he could not fit it all on the truck.

The Price would be $10,000 not the $3,300.04. He said what do you want me to do? Now everything is on the truck but about 30 items.  This was a big scam from the time Sal Arrived.  He cut the price to $9,000.00 & then hit me up for a tip for the men. A gave him $100.00 & he insisted on more. I gave him another $100.00. = $254.00 including lunch.

Mean while My Wife was in the hospital & I was in a state of shock. I was in no position to say take it off the truck. I called Sunshine 3 to 4 Times asking to speak to the Owner & Hailey that day. Since then I have made over 10 calls to the Owner & Hailey & they are never in nor than they returned our calls.

Sal Arrived with the new truck at 9:15 AM

The remaining items were loaded & the truck left at about 9:45AM

Sal had a pickup in Atlantic City.

Tuesday June 1, 10

I called Sunshine

They gave me the name of the driver Mosel & his phone #, saying our shipment was on the way to Florida.

I called Mosel & he said he was driving & would call me back later to set up the delivery.

Wednesday June 2, 10

I called Mosel and he said he did not have any shipments for me on his truck.

I called Sunshine

They gave me the name of different driver & his phone #, saying our shipment was on the way to Florida.

I called the driver & he said he was driving & would be in Florida & would call me 2 hours before he arrived on Saturday.

On Saturday JUNE 5

I called the driver & he said he was making his last delivery & he did not have our furniture.

I called Sunshine & thy said it was on a different truck, but it was broken down in Georgia & was under repair. They would deliver the furniture on Tuesday June 8, 10. Meanwhile My wife really sick & is sleeping on our golden retrievers bed. Later that day I had to take my wife into the hospital.  She had to stay 8 nights.

Tuesday June 8 at 3:30 PM

Ramzi, the Driver, Arrived with one helper. (We were promised a total of 5 BY Sal.)

The furniture had been thrown into the truck & was not secure.

The drive handed one box to the back of the truck & the helper carried it into the one story house.

It was very slow. After about 5 minutes my neighbors Bobby & John  (ages 65 & 72) & myself age 71 started to unload the truck. The helper & the driver reminded me at least 5 times

I TAKE CARE OF YOU; YOU TAKE CARE OF ME LATER.

The truck was only to 1/3 full. I asked about the rest of the furniture & he said it would be on another truck.

The driver & Helper did not check off the items coming off the truck per the

Uniform Household Goods BILL Of Lading and Freight Bill

The Bill of lading was only provided at the end of the day.

It was signed by me MISSING 30% OF FURNITURETO BE DELIEVERED.

Bobby & John , & I plus the helper unloaded most of the furniture.

The next day my back started to go into spasms & I had to ice it & take a pain pill for my back.

Bobby & John left at 6:30 because john was not feeling good.

The Men finally finished about 8:30 PM. with another $100.00 tip.

Thursday June 10, 10

I called Sunshine again asking for Hailey or the Owner. They were not in.

They said it was in transit & I asked for the driver & phone#

I called Mosel again & he said he was not a driver, but a trucker. I asked him if he had my furniture & a bill of laden #. He said he would call me back in 20 Minutes.

35 minutes later I called Mosel & he said he would ship it out this week & he had just received the shipment 3 days earlier.

I then called sunshine & they referred me to their Insurance Carrier.

North Bergen

201 724-0260

The trailer was filled to the 1000 cf mark but only 4-6 ft high.

The Driver said that Sunshine VAN Lines had loaded the truck.

That no count was given him as to the number of items nor was he given a Uniform Household Goods Bill of lading & Freight Bill.

I asked him to us my copy to check off the items & any damage, but he said he could not read it & he needed the original.

Several items were pointed out as damaged.

SunShine Van Line  is a scam using bait and switch on their estimates.

Never use this Company. None of the trucks had a Sunshine Sign. One had a  U HAUL for rent sign.

I paid $50 for crating for a 8 ft Blue MARLIN. They wrapped it in cardboard, breaking the bill & scraping the bottom of the fish. Several other items were damaged..

Delivery time due on Saturday actual delivery completed 10 days late!!!
