Complaint Review: Suntasia

I received a call on May 1st, a Saturday morning from a loud mouthed associate who was friendly enough; she offered a free Suntasia services brochure with free air miles, and a one month trial membership to experience their services; in addition to trials from certain affiliate companies. I accepted with alot of coaxing--when I said "I do need a vacation" she hooked me. I gave them my account information after being assured that no money would be taken out without my permission after I became a member by not canceling before my trial period had passed.

After the call I was feeling very stupid for having divulged my private financial information, but since I never received anything from them, including a phone call, I figured that they would not be able to remove funds from my account--WRONG. I made a deposit on the twentith of May and found that my account balance was about $200 short.

I asked my banker for information on the withdraw and received my account activity information sheet which showed a withdrawl of $149 on May 11th by Suntasia and another withdrawl on May 18th from a company called Capital Aid of $59.95 not only did they unauthorizedely remove money-they gave my information to other companies to just freely remove money from MY account. AND all this occured without me even having the capability to call the customer service number because I never received the information from them.
