I've made multiple moves across country in the last three years.  Thought I had good enough experience to realize what's a good moving company vs not.  But little did I know I was so wrong about Super Jet Van Lines.  I informed Pete when he contacted me on the phone about my bad experiences in the past and he assured me that his company is nothing like these other companies.  And yes he was right, he's nothing like them because they are the worst.   Pete assured me that I would like a timely pick up and timely delivery. Gauranteed.  In fact he had to arrange to have ample pick up time so that my belongings will be delivered in 11 days.  Little did I know...  This is how the story develops...

June 11. Movers come to pick up my stuff.  There was no communication between dispatch and movers.  They called me the day prior saying they'll be there at 11am. I get a call from them at 8am asking me where my entrance is.  I was barely ready for the pick up, but I hurriedly finished packing up my kitchen and had them finish my pick up.  I signed a whole bunch of papers.  On booking with Pete, after multple phone calls, Pete assured me that it was OK to pay my pick up payment via credit card. On day of pick up the movers were not able to get in touch with finance for almost two hours. Finally when they were done picking up, after many phone calls, knowing that I just don't have cash or bank check to give them, somehow miraculously they were able to get in touch with the finance folks.  Then when they got on the phone, they said they only took Discover cards, when in fact they took my deposit through my VISA card.

One week goes by, silly me thinking that they had already loaded my belongings onto a trailer heading over to Minnesota, where I'm moving to in the next 3-4 days.  I called them exactly 7 days after my pick up, only to be informed that my items were still sitting in NJ storage.  At that point I started panicking.  I knew already on Tuesday that I wasn't going to get my delivery on the promised date that Pete provided.  Today, July 2nd, my stuff has yet to leave NJ storage.  I have yet to be able to speak with Lisa, apparently the only person who has any information on dispatch.  Toni, the person who picks up the phone, always puts me on hold the second I call, by now she probably recognizes my number on her caller ID.  Jason, who occasionally comes on the phone will "swear" that my stuff will get moved out last week. Pete, my "point person" from beginning to end, pretends to help by "getting in touch with dispatch" via e-mail. well at least he has the decency to return my e-mails.

Well, today is July 2nd. My stufff is still in NJ. I have no idea when it will leave since the trailer is still in NJ. They have no departure date and don't have updates ever.  Does anyone have any idea how I can proceed with litigation/pick up my stuff using other companies?
