I recently assisted my (2) son's with a move from Massachusetts to Orlando, FL.  I had one son a recent honorable discharge veteran moving to Orlando with his younger brother who is a College student who was hired into the Walt Disney World summer internship program.  Prior to their move I conducted a search via the internet for moving companies at which time I was contacted by individual from Super Jet Van Lines named Peter - who stated they have an A+ rating from Angies List.  Peter seemed extremely professional and provided a final price quote of $1500.  A deposit of $450 was due at the time of signing the agreement and the remaining $1100 was due at the time of arrive.

The movers arrived to pick up the furniture and once the driver had all the merchandise on the truck he demanded the final payment of $1100 from my son.  My son paid the $1100 and 30 minutes after the driver left with their personal belongings and furniture he received a call from a Dispatcher name Lisa at which time she stated he would need to pay an additional $1100 once the movers arrived in FL.  I received this information from my son at which time I thought it was an error so I attempted to contact Peter.  It is safe to say once I paid my deposit I couldn’t find Peter at any of the several numbers he provided.  So I extended a call to Lisa who was the most abrasive, rude and nastiest individual I ever spoke to.  She would not back off the price of $1100 until I threatened Law Enforcement intervention and even still she demanded $400.  I agreed to pay the additional $400 to make this horrible experience end.

Unfortunately it didn’t end - the movers arrived 6 days past the deliver date and demanded $1100 - once I go Lisa on the phone she allegedly didn’t recall our agreement of an additional $400.  After approximately 45 of haggling Lisa allowed the movers to deliver the merchandise.  The movers refused to move the belonging into the residence and left everything in the drive way because they stated there were (2) extra stairs - not staircases; (2) stairs.  The only way they would move the merchandise into the residence if my sons "took care" of them with an extra $250 payment.

I implore everyone who reads this communication to NEVER, NEVER utilize this company - I don’t have an ax to grind but I have an obligation to share this fraudulent experience and hopefully allow other families and potential customers to avert these thieves.......  Once again please do not utilize Super Jet Van Lines they are scam artist, thieves and not worthy of the title "Movers".......
