My debit card went unused for over a year, I use credit cards instead now. I didn't cancel the debit card back then because I used it as an ATM card as well.

Out of the blue on October '08 three fraudulent charges appeared on my bank account from the debit card, one of which was $6.95 from Superfoods. I immediately reported it to the bank and canceled the card.

A few days later a package from Superfoods arrived at an address I used to live at more than a year ago. My parents live there now so they gave it to me.

My card info must have been stolen from a very old online purchase (Encrypt your databases people!!).

I have never done any business with Superfoods, and had never even visited their site, www.superfoodsrx.com, prior to the fraudulent charges.

I sent a contact to superfoods letting them know of the fraud, and asking for a credit. I also let them know if they wanted their package back to send me postage paid return packaging. They never responded.

Now in December I've received a letter from The Law Office's of Robert J. Colclough, III demanding $40.60 for "Superfoods Supplement-30 Day Vitamin". Apparently they tried to charge more to the canceled card and think they can collect it by threatening legal action and my credit report.

After reading Mike's report involving this same collections agency and credit card fraud with "theraputix from HEA*NUTRI SCIENCE LAB" I'll bet there are a lot more of us.
