UPDATE: Click Here to see how Superior Benefits contacts Rip-off Report to give REFUNDS to unsatisfied customers.

I received a phone call from a Mr. Franklin on 12/19/03, representing Superior Benefits. Offering a Visa credit card with a $2,000 credit line, 0% a.p.r. on cash withdrawals and 6 1/2% on charges. He stated the card would take less than 7 days to reach me and I could take out the $299.00 one-time fee by using the cash withdrawal from the card itself. This sounded kind of fishy when he transferred me to the confirmation department(also the suppossed recorded session) and asked me not to mention that I was using the card as means of my fee. I am on disability and set the payment date when I had the available funds.

Mr. Franklin also gave me the suppossed phone number and his personal extension. Out of curiosity I called the number today, 12/24/03. It was to the customer service department and there was no way I could be transferred to Mr. Franklin's extension.

I was told that the card was to be received in 15 to 20 business days after the payment date, but that I could cancel up until the 30th of December. I decided to do some research into this company and ran across this wonderful site. There are 45 complaints in the last 2 months alone concerning Superior Benefits. I am going to try and cancel later today, as it is next to impossible to reach someone on their phone line. I would like to post this now as it looks like I am in for a battle and would like for all the complainees to get together and file a lawsuit against this company.

I am on disability and every penny counts

I have been trying to get in touch with someone, anyone at "Superior Benefits", to cancel my order. The line is always busy or no answer. I am having my bank put a stop payment on the withdrawal that Superior Benefits is supossed to be making on the 5th of January, 2004. I do not know who to put the stop payment on, Superior Benefits or Amerinet? It costs me $25.00 for each stop payment. I would be interested in assisting anyone else that has had more trouble than I, as I would still like to press the issue, as I am on disability and every penny counts. For this company to take advantage of someone on disability shows the true nature and needs to be stopped.

How One Consumer Got Her Money Back from the Scammers! A Must Read!

One Consumer in Georgia writes:

I GOT MY MONEY BACK!!! Here is my story.

I researched all the info I could find on ripoffreport.com in regards to the names above specifically "Superior Benefits". I found that these telemarketing fraud companies use AmeriNet debiting services (A.K.A. Debit-it) to procss all there transactions.

Well I contacted these people, and at first it is just a peon that can take a report and send it to her Supervisor, but the Supervisor can help very much. I called amerinet, and they answered Customer Services Center or something like that. I explained that they were doing business with a fraudulent company. I went on to explain as much as I could.

The rep was astonished that this was happenning, and she said that she would print a copy of our conversation / issue, and put it on her supervisor's desk. Well The next day went on and at 3:20PM A Sup named Brenda called me, and I explained the same fraudulent business that they were doing business with these @$#@^%'s She told me that she would fast track our refund and should be there within 24-48 hrs.

About 47 hours later we called and found out that after the check initialy clears out of your account, then you can start the refund process, but it will take 3 day to process, and get the money back into your account! The Customer Service Number to AmeriNet/Debit-It is 800 221 0854.

I being very cautious and record all incoming calles, I recorded the number of the SUPERVISOR (BRENDA) that called me and issued the refund. Her number is 727 536 0312, but you will probably not get through because it is a Tier 2 employer, and she works banker hrs.

SO First you must call the Customer Service Center @ 800 221 0854, and tell them (her either Karen, or Lindsy, or someone else) your story and ask that they print a copy of the issue as well as youe contact info, and put it on The Supervisor's (Brenda hopefully) desk, and have the Sup call you. This has worked for me, as the money has cleared (into)my girlfriend account.

We can beat these monsters. I expressed in my initial report that this was not over to the Fraudsters, and I have the last laugh. I got my money back. It does seem that AmeriNet/Debit-It is refunding out of their own pocket, and not yet investigating Superior Benefits, I don't know how long they will pay out of their own pockets, but if enough of us complain and demand a refund the better chance we have of having AmeriNet/Debit-It investigate this fraudulent company of many names.
