I too, like many of you have been ripped off by Superior Benefits. I was contacted back in October and was offered a $2,500.00 credit limit for a Master Card (they actually asked me which I preferred Visa or MC). I was a bit skeptical and asked the representative Sandra, Agent 18-225 if this credit card would be a regular Visa or MC, and if I would be able to use it at any local store, restaurant, etc... She responded, "of course!" I was advised that I would receive the credit card between 15-20 business days.
I have been calling since 11/11 and was told that the shipping had been lost, that the shipment would have to be re-shipped and to expect it no later than December 1. I just received a package from them yesterday... no credit card. My package consisted of junk mail essentially and a CD of form letters oon how to re-establish my credit. I have been trying to contact Superior at 1-866-554-#### and it rings busy continuously. I have also tried calling 800-400-#### (which is the number that appeared on my bank statement when they debited my account for $299.00), and that number is answered by a recorder stating "due to the high call volume, we cannot answer your phone call at this time. Please call back later"
I have gone to my bank and completed the Affidavit of Fraud form. I hope to I receive my money back. I will also be contacting the Attorney General and reporting this scam. At this point, I'll even contact the FBI!
Please be careful out there!
