EDitor's UPDATED info 2-20-04: Rip-off Report is still receiving complaints that they are not receiving the refunds as promised. Rip-off Report has been in contact with the Company and has made them aware of these issues. They have assured us that refunds are being given to those who are providing them with all the correct contact information requested by them. They have also provided confirmation/proof of over 2,600 refunds to date, on a spreadsheet, and Rip-off Report staff called and verified more than a dozen consumers at random, all very angry & outraged, but, they all did get their refund. The company again apologized for the delay and reported that credit to your account could take as long as 4-5 days. As we understand it, this company only does the processing for all the other companies, so they are at the mercy of those companies funds, further delaying your refund.

Rip-off Report is hoping they will live up to what they have promised, we think they will, ..we'll see. Rip-off Report will continue to investigate more into this situation, and we will eventually post an UPDATE to the main Report at this web address: https://www.ripoffreport.com/view.asp?id=76605

I was contacted by Superior Benifits in December of 2003. They said I am eligible for a credit card with a $2000 limit, and also they would send me a free cell phone with 500 prepaid minutes. All it would cost me is $299.00 for the set up. They said that it would not be taken out of my account until January, and I would be getting my card 2 weeks after. Well, Come the first week of January, I lost my Visa Check Card, so I reported it to the bank as missing, well, Superior bennifits was able to still take the 299.00 out of my account.

I callled them and let them know that I did not want their services and asked if I could get the money back that they took out from a canceled card. they said that they already sent the card. I thought okay, we will wait till next week and see about this card, nothing happend. I called again, they said they got it back. and are sending out a package to me.

I got the package of how to take care of my bad credit, I called them again and said this is not what we taked about. They said their will be a letter sent out and they didnt send the card for security reasons. I said I want my money back, now. They said just wait one more week,. This was in Late febuary. Come March, I called again and said I asked for a refund over a month ago and received nothing, she said we dont give refunds. That the bank sent out the paper and I must have thrown it away, I said no, I want the $299.00 back.

She said she cant do that, so I hung up with her telling me to wait again for the banks paper work in one week, three days later I called and their phone has been disconnected, we are not well off, I am having a hard time finding work, and we need that money back. I dont know what else to do, I am not sure if my internet works because i am using the librarys internet.
