EDitor's UPDATED info 2-20-04: Rip-off Report is still receiving complaints that they are not receiving the refunds as promised. Rip-off Report has been in contact with the Company and has made them aware of these issues. They have assured us that refunds are being given to those who are providing them with all the correct contact information requested by them. They have also provided confirmation/proof of over 2,600 refunds to date, on a spreadsheet, and Rip-off Report staff called and verified more than a dozen consumers at random, all very angry & outraged, but, they all did get their refund. The company again apologized for the delay and reported that credit to your account could take as long as 4-5 days. As we understand it, this company only does the processing for all the other companies, so they are at the mercy of those companies funds, further delaying your refund.

Rip-off Report is hoping they will live up to what they have promised, we think they will, ..we'll see. Rip-off Report will continue to investigate more into this situation, and we will eventually post an UPDATE to the main Report at this web address: https://www.ripoffreport.com/view.asp?id=76605

Please be patient, we can only tell you what they are telling us.

I received a phone call 2 days before Thanksgiving from one of the "Reps" of Superior Benefits telling me that I can receive a credit card with a $2,500 balance to start and 1,000 increases every 6 months for a one time lifetime membership fee of $299.00. After discussing this with my Fiance, being we needed financial help, and asking the "Rep" all of the pertinent information, assuring this was a legit thing, We agreed to this fee to be withdrawn from our account the following month.

The "Rep" assured us the Credit Card, along with a membership package, would arrive within 10-14 days after the withdrawal. So of course, they were right on time withdrawing the money from the checking account, but 10-14 days later, we still had not received anything in the mail.

We called Superior Benefits and was hung up on after waiting 45 min. on the phone and speaking with an EXTREMLY rude woman for about 1 min. She stated that nothing was even going to sent to us in the mail until the following week and we would have to wait 14 more days.

After waiting a month, we started getting worried. So I made another call to Superior Benefits and after waiting another 45 min I finally spoke to someone. This lady was a little nicer but told me that my package had only just been sent out and that I was supposed to get a telephone call.

No phone call ever came. By this time it was about the middle of Feb. and by this time they had my money for going on 3 months. About the 25th of Feb. my Fiance called and only after waiting 20 min on the phone (progress, finally) The person on the phone said we should receive our package by the following week.

Finally, on March 12th we received the package with NO CARD. I was infuriated and I called Superior Benefits again. After waiting an HOUR to talk to someone I asked to speak with a Manager and was told no one was available so I explained what happened to them. They told me that there was a NO REFUND policy and HUNG UP on me.

I then called the number that appeared on my bank statement for Superior Benefits and It was the ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE DEPT. The woman I talked to told me that there should be a letter in my package (which by the way is a bunch of useless flyers,CD ROM, and Application for a LOADABLE C.card) telling me what to do if I wish to cancel my membership. So I found the letter, did what it told me to do (send a dated letter for my cancelation) for my refund.

That was March 18 and today is APRIL first and I still do not have a REFUND! They took my money, left me further in debt, and I am very angry. That money was for a car payment i was sure i could catch up on when i received my credit card. HA!

This so called company is full of B.S.!
