I received the phone call solciting a credit card and was told that I was refered to them by signing up with another company. Since I had requested referrels for a credit card from an internet company 3 months prior to this I thought they were legitimate. I do not believe they are in business with them and the rep misrepresented herself.

I was also told by the csr that they were in business with dozens of banks and named Bank One and Citi-Bank by name. She also was very clear about the product I was purchasing. MasterCard with 5.9 APR, No Annual Fee, No Daily ARP with cash advance, $2000.00 credit limit guaranteed.

I was to receive my packet in 10 business days from Fed-Ex. I could choose the date of EFT from the 12-21st and I could actually receive my card prior to the date the funds were being withdrawn. Making it more affordabe since I could use the cash advance feature to finance the actually fee for the card. (Writing this out gives me to 2 good 2 be true nightmare)

I dialed the 866 number as an 800 number by mistake and began to realize I had been taken because the number was disconnected. I have since found out the number is still good, but while researching who ripped me off I still believe this to be a scam.

I called the Amerinet number and spoke with a man who seemed very frustrated about these questions and told me I would receive my credit card within 20 business days from todays date. I will call next week to see if it's 20 days from that date just to affirm my beliefs. I will also contact the extension of the rep I spoke with to ask her to reafirm our conversation.

I read on this website /Credit-Debt-Services/World-Benefits/world-benefits-contacts-rip-of-MCF6E.htm that you were contacted by them and they are trying to resolve these complaints. If they want to resolve these issues, I would like to know why their 866 number is not listed anywhere. I would also like to know where my credit card is? Why doing a research on the address provides no information? How long have they been in business? Who is the founder of this business and I do I contact them?

I will keep you posted because this is not over until I expose them as frauds to protect fellow consumers or I receive the product I purchased.

Update as promised on World Benefits/Superior Benefits.. Well the 21st is here and still no cc as promised. I would like to know how the cs rep could tell me i would receive the card prior to the check being posted if I elected the post date of the 21st. I elected the post date of the 12th because I had the funds and was impressed with the card benefits. I guess what I should be impressed with was the ability of the rep to snow me with prompt answers to my questions. I have no doubt that I will never receive this card. I have not been able to locate the names of the owners of this business and never will. If Rip-Off report would be so kind as to post the name of the person that contacted them on 1/9/04 I would appreciate it. Guess I'll have to be satisfied with getting my money back.
