I purchased a used Ford taurus from this company in November 1998. I had it approx. 2 months & the transmission failed..I also discovered that they had fraudulantly put items on my purchase agreement that went to the lender that were not included on my car.

My salesperson misinformed me of these false items that were on my finance sheet & also the finance mgr stated that due to the finance company that I am dealing with that they would not finance the car if they do not believe that these items are on this car that I will have to put more money down.

I disclosed this to my finance company, Household Auto & they did nothing & I also reported this to the Sales Mgr of Superior Ford who never contacted me back.

About 6 months later I discovered that the motor was shot due to rust & had to have that replaced,. I contacted the dealership several times about all of these problems & each time I was told that a manager would contact me. I even called up to the corporate office & made complaints & was blown off. to date I have spent from my pocket approx. $10460.00 on this vehicle which is a total lemmon.
I have made calls to every level of Superior ford & to the corporate office only to get blown off or no response.
I will never do buisness with this dealership or Ford Motor Company again.
I have come to find that they are a total ripoff & I will never recommend them to anyone on this earth.

Unfortunate Transmission Problems

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

It's unfortunate that you had transmission problems and motor problems but those problems were in no way related to the so called not installed items. While it may be true that the items listed were not on your car, it very well may have been true that to help your situation ie:lack of down payment, those items enhanced the vehicles book value on paper to help reduce the money that you would need down to get financing. Superior Ford was well know in the area for being able to help people get into vehicles when other Dealers were not as creative in pushing the envelope with lenders.

I don't know of any Dealer (reputable or not) that would intentially sell someone a vehicle they knew would break down in a very short period of time. Who would want that headache or bad reputation.
